Honorbuddy Beta Builds

Still getting a QB error after downloading new version. Might be because you don't delete the offending file. Are there support in HB for deleting incorrect files or do you just add to the current structure?

Renaming it hb beta\Quest Behaviors\Development\PetControl.cs.txt will fix the problem and let the questbot run.

Yeah that helped. The big question I always ask to myself when an update is pushed and you start it and in the bot instantly stops again throwing out error messages is: WHY DOES NOBODY TEST IT? It's not a single case, this happened to several (beta) releases in last few weeks. I'm getting more and more disappointed.

 

Problem with picking up a quest from a quest giver in HFP. Apothecary Antovich

He is also Alchemy trainer and vendor. Could that be the problem?

Adding: Seems to not work with any quest giver that has a gossip option.

 

Just noting that EjectVeh.cs is in the main catalog while other vehicle behaviors have been moved.

 

Question: FlyTo seems to work perfectly fine anywhere in the world. Are there any reason to not just replace RunTo with FlyTo directly in the HB core?

At lease for the cases when you are handing in quests and going to vendors/Mailbox.

 

Questbot won't accept quests from questgivers with gossip/trade

 

Just tested it with an innkeeper that has a trade, a gossip to set the location, and 3 quests and it picked up all 3 just fine. So you will need to be more specific and provide pics.

 

A Development\PetControl.cs does not even exist anymore means you did not do a clean install. Which needs to be done especially if you are using the beta.

 

And why nobody tests? It's a beta, and we are the testers . Look up the meaning of beta versions via google or something ...

 

Then take away the autoupdater if it shouldn't be used.

That's too easy, dude. A beta is a software that may have (minor) bugs. But it's not beta if you start it up and it striktly refuses to work. This is pointless.
But I don't expect any working version, no matter if it's beta or release.

 

As far as I could see, the program did start but you were encountering bugs which madr parts of it not work. That is exactly what a beta version can be.

 

the new beta build isnt working it has to mutch cpu like 30 and doesend load so i went back to the stable

 

Using Singular, Kick's 1-90 questing, and nothing but HB shipped addon's I'm sitting at 2-3% cpu usage. I couldn't get beta 215 to work on questing (quest behavior errors) but 216 seems to be working fine so far.

I spoke too soon. Bot went to pickup a quest in Zangarmarsh and started spamming the quest giver. 216 Beta with Kick's SVN quest behaviors copied over.

Lots of (299) errors in the log as well.

 

Try on the latest one. I cannot get the repeat issue to happen for the life of me and yet I know its still going on, why there has been a few betas pushed.

 

Just tried Beta 218. Bot will not pick up a quest if the quest giver has more than one available. Using as shipped QB's.
