Never saw this before... All of my non active, offline accounts (on the same computer) got wiped out, even though I stopped botting after I've lost most of my bots the week before. Maybe 25 or so (too much heartbreak to test all) offlining accounts, some with successful appeals few hours/days prior, got an email saying account closed on the grounds of Extreme Exploitation. I quote one of the answers I got to a ticket: Code: "Your account has been re-banned for using the game exploit/abusing the game mechanics through many of your accounts found and verified in your logs in past weeks while only domestic IP had access to your account." 0 successful appeals so far. All accounts were on seperate battle.nets, leveling, gathering, dungeoning in MoP. Only thing tying them was the same machine/IP. Anyway, Blizzard made the choice to stop botting easy for me
By thw way they redacted it, it seems like they really looked into it and then banned you, they are being really active on investigating accounts. Just curious, on that mail they said "all of your accounts", were they under the same name?
If you see that an IP is logging tens of accounts to farm gold - you needn't go further than a couple of weeks to have enough of a reason to wipe the entire farm. I think that's what happened. And no, they knew the accounts were "mine" even though they were separate, under different names.
Had exact the same a few weeks ago. many of my inaktive accounts ( more than 5 months) and aktive accounts got closed without a warning. And there was no chance of successful appeals. And the mail was from woweugm@blizzard.com.
