Hi guys, this is my experience about recents WoW Bans, and what i did for see how they ban or not... I was botting with 4 SoR bots that i used for like 1 year without problems. At first of April they banned all 4 in the same time: not a problem, i know that SoR accounts are easy to be flagged so i was waiting something like that. I started again with 4 FULL LEGIT ACCOUNTS, that i levelled until lvl90 by hands, questing and grinding. No problems at all, when i reached lvl90 started with Honorbuddy + Gatherbuddy the leveling of Herbalism and Mining with a my private profile that do 1-600 full afk. - 2 of them get banned until leveling, in the same time, with same email: they asked me to change password, after password change, in 30 min they banned me. 72 hours of ban. - Others 2 didn't get banned, when i reached lvl600 to both profession, after 1 week i started with Gatherbuddy: after only ONE day i got PERMABANNED on one of them, fortunately i was online so i immediately stopped the second bot and still didn't get banned (maybe they ban only during online). First appeal was rejected, second after 2 days got accepted and reversed to 72h bans. My conclusion: atm WoW and GB2 are dead. TOTALLY. Not important where you bot, how much you bot and when you bot... They will ban you. I will sell my accounts asap and search another profitable game to bot on. EDIT: sorry for my bad english

i am booting this game since it apeard and never got banned till now i am not noob booter will never be i know the rules eyes on bot when u bot but this time was ... puff logout account closed 202 and now i have time to catch my series that are behind lose my spot on main raid team tomorrow but i got my lesson when you get to this level of ban with eyes on a perfect route script and combat and still get banned its time for a change means no more booting till the masters here say its safe =))
Ah, forgot to say one thing, really important: in the past, i got already 2/3 permabans, but everytime i got my account back with some good stories and everytime the GM that replied me never mentioned about botting or something, just like that: "after a review of your case we moved your suspension to 72h" or something. But now, after my appeal, the GM said that they was SURE about my using of bots. So, they know for sure that we are botting, is not like statistic or random checks, they have something of automatic that flag who use bot, like memory reading
i was thinking about moving on to regular accounts rather than sor accoutns, which i have been using for like last two year. And You thread just proves that there is no point. Too bad that i cant find the way to stop bans because this game is very, very profitable if u can avoid bans
No, no, no, no, no, NO. I have now been farming 12h a day with 7 bots, 6 of em with GB2 in MoP - No ban, no warning no NOTHING!
I waited a week after the EU banwave a few weeks ago ish (which I did not receive a ban at all btw), but I've been doing 6-7 hours on gatherbuddy for the past two weeks on 3 accounts without issue. My personal advice? Leveling by hand does nothing for you, if you thought it would... but what I find is that getting some history on your accounts (such as a lot of LFR, Dailies, kill world bosses, ect) is paramount to creating a long lasting account(s).
I've been reading these ban reports and trying to figure out why I haven't been banned, and this Kata's idea is the only one that makes sense. I spend my whole night doing dailies, LFRs , dungeons, then before going to sleep I leave the bot to level an alt or gather some materials. I'm doing this at least 5 days a week and nothing happened. This is my situation, maybe I'm just lucky, who knows...
In this case, I would actually be pretty save to pick up on my botting again. I spend my days by doing LFR's (manually, not botting), dungeons, guildruns, a bit of crafting when i have materials (or the cd's on professions). I only used HB for levelling (kickz) my alts, and GB to do some farming with my druid, to get to the next professionlevel. Also, I monitor my bot 99%, only times I don't is when I go for a quick smoke, to eat something, and such
