Copied/Pasted from original message, error still occurs after downloading the updated HB version, new folder, everything reccomended by tony, etc. Hello, In Terokkar forest on the quest "Missing Friends" the bot picks up the quest and immediately tries to turn it in. Not sure why. Have Cache cleared wow/HB, tried a fresh install... removed all quests from log and done cache clean, etc no luck. Sooner or later it just comes back to missing friends quests and tries to turn it in. I've included a log. Any help is greatly appreciated! PS - I tried copying quest behaviors from kicks profile into the HB quest behaviors, and then cache cleaned, etc. Didn't fix. Thanks! Regards
Hi, Rmd208, Tony hasn't had his coffee this morning. What you are experiencing is not a profile issue: [06:40:31.853 D] Changed POI to:Type: QuestTurnIn [06:40:32.216 D] InteractDebug:596828596 [06:40:32.242 D] Interact Done:596828596 [06:40:36.113 D] Cleared POI - Reason Quest Completed #2 [06:40:36.113 D] Cleared POI [06:40:36.261 D] Changed POI to:Type: QuestTurnIn [06:40:36.616 D] InteractDebug:596828596 [06:40:36.648 D] Interact Done:596828596 [06:40:40.551 D] Cleared POI - Reason Quest Completed #2 [06:40:40.551 D] Cleared POI [06:40:40.710 D] Changed POI to:Type: QuestTurnIn This is either a problem with caches (there are four of them that must be cleared). Please try one more time to clear them. Full instructions here: HelpDesk: Cache corruption problems If that doesn't get you going, please post a fresh log. If its not caches, then its a problem with HBcore that needs to be reported to development. The Support forum is absolutely the right venue for this problem's failure mode. As, there is nothing a profile writer can do to correct this problem. cheers, chinajade
At your request I have followed your instructions about cache clearing explicitly. Started the bot again and got the same result. I have attached a fresh log. Its not such a big deal that its occurring on this quest, as I can just manually bypass it; however, my concern is going to be will it do it on future quests? Like I've said previously I have run these profiles near flawlessly for a plenty of characters, but I don't want the bot spamming the NPC to turn in a quest it just picked up. Thanks again!
Known issue, happens on my private questing profiles too... requires a bot restart. the bot doesn't update on what's going on and is a step behind, after a stop and start it then continues to work. My thread if you need more logs on this issue - http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...rum/115940-suggestion-infinity-stuck-bug.html There's also another bug which is more to do with singular I'm guessing as if you don't clear target (sometimes happens on dead mobs) the bot will just stand like a dope.
Hi, Rmd208, and thanks for doing that! I agree with your concern about problems with future quests. There's one other thing you can try--since you point out its 'toon specific'. Dig way down to find the Warcraft/WTF/Account/WHATEVER_ACCOUNT/WHATEVER_SERVER/WHATEVER_TOON/ directory, and delete the whole directory. If that works, please let us know, and I'll update the HelpDesk article. If it fails, I"m going to say its an HBcore bug and we'll have to get Natfoth to give it a look. cheers, chinajade
This is not the case. I've started and stopped multiple times and it doesn't do a thing. Actually in some of the logs you can see that I stopped it 5-8 times to no avail, but I was doing it to provide logs showing that its consistently doing it. @Chinajade: Thanks for the help, but I didn't mean to imply it was toon specific. I merely meant that its only occurred one time, pretty recently and has been successful in the past. I would go in and delete that WTF folder, but honestly I just manually did the quest and started profile again. I am going to watch it for a while - it seems to be functioning past that quest, I'm not sure if its the same one that another person got stuck on (under kicks thread). Thanks again for the help, if it occurs again I will repost a log with the data so maybe we can see if its a core issue. Regards
No, cache clearing didnt help at all. Same issue: picks up quest, then thinks completed, tries to turn in and repeatedly fails.
Hi, Rmd208, I assume you've upgraded to .562 which may have repaired this problem. Next time it happens, can you observe something for me? Does the 'turn in dialog' button say "Accept", "Continue", or "Complete"? cheers, chinajade
Im not sure. I didn't update to .562 but it started throwing more errors of same type. After completing quest it was stuck on it went relatively smooth until it hit netherstorm. Then in Area52 it started doing it again, this time it tried to pick up a quest that comes later in a questline that I wasn't currently at. I heard word that .562 was redirecting to old infected versions so I didn't download it until a few minutes ago. After scanning the files with malwarebytes and windows security essentials and coming up with nothing I extracted and launched in a new install, etc; However, the profile swapped to LK questing now and it'll be a few before it gets out there and starts trying to do more quests. The old dialog boxes in netherstorm when it started happening again only contained "cancel" though, if that helps any. I'd include a log but I already wiped that version for the .562 version. I started .562 now, ill let you know; Was the .562 version clean? Hearing word that people are still complaining of finding Trojans and being redirected to old files. Thanks again! Regards
Update to current problem I had listed: After updating to .562, in a new folder, cache cleared everything like requested, etc, the bot seemed to perform fine for a while. Then it started doing same loops again. I pulled a log that was small and simple to read. Seems to be same problem. Prior to getting this log I Cache cleared all 4 things, dropped all quests in log, fresh install of .557 (after release forums said this was best option) and clicked start. The bot flew from Conquest hold in Grizzly hills to the NPC quest giver, acquired quest, went to area necessary to complete it, flew back to the NPC questgiver and tried to spam turn it in while getting the message "You do not meet the requirements for that quest". Starting to get a bit frustrating. I don't mind completing the quests here and there to keep progression going but it definitely is doing it quite consistently now. Is there any way that I can fix this on my end? Perhaps and older version of HB to download, or something of that nature? Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to finish up leveling this monk within next few days Thanks again for the help. Regards
I posted "Prior to getting this log I Cache cleared all 4 things, dropped all quests in log, fresh install of .557 (after release forums said this was best option) and clicked start." ... lol
well from the last log you gave its trying to turn in ... Or Maybe We Don't - Quest - World of Warcraft if you dont have it completed then complete it manually and give it another shot.
