Use Tame Beast spell. Also suggest to use Glyph of Tame Beast to shorten the spell by 4 seconds. Good luck!

been trying this for a few days and im sorry to report that i havnt had much success. everything seems to work fine, it repairs, goes to a portal or ship and gets to the farming area and flys around etc just like it should. i now have the achievement for killing 3 rares in northrend...3 rares that i wanted to tame!!!! im sure that the settings are correct as per the first post and iv double checked that the settings were saved and still no joy. also i get stuck allot, mostly flying into deep water and hitting fatigue, rezing and dying again in an endless loop.
No problem for me as I just tamed Skoll few nights ago. Make sure you change the pull spell in Rarekiller configuration to use Tame Beast spell or you'll just one shot them. I had the same problem as you until I finally figured out what was wrong..LOL Good luck!
Thanks This found me the spirit beast in zul drak. However i have to baby sit the bot cus its killing every tameable mob even with ''don't kill tameable Mobs'' ON.
yeah dont work well at all disabled the customize pull spell to tame pet 1515 id but when save just defaults back to default .... and havnt tamed anything in 2 days now
Woke up this morning to find that my hunter had tamed Gondria! View attachment 92200 View attachment 92201 At first I had the same problems as some others had: when I loaded Rarefinder.xml under Professionbuddy, my toon would just fly off into the ocean repeatedly and die of fatigue. What did work for me however, was the following: - Used Gatherbuddy2 as my botbase - Loaded the profile Northrend Rares.xml from the directory \Honorbuddy\Bots\Professionbuddy\Profiles\Rares\Northrend\Alliance - Unchecked mining, herbing and looting under Bot Config - Used the Rarefinder plugin with the recommended settings from the OP So thank you very much, I'd never have had te patience to do this manually.
Is there a way to blacklist the pets you have already tamed, so you dont end up with multiples in your list and unable to tame a new one? I ask this because some pets spawn more than others, so I ended up with doubles.
first of all: i love you thanks for this great profile and all your hard work, just got King Krush, Gondria and an rare Rhino today! but is there a way i can blacklist a few mobs or complete maps? now i would like to only farm skoll, where do i have to edit? would be nice if anyone can help me thanks in advance!
You'll need to set up a GatherBuddy profile along the route your intended mob patrols. Use ZapRecorder or similar plugin to create. Then turn off mining/herbing in GB, turn on RareKiller and PROFIT!!!
Rather annoyed that I'd just created a route for Ghostcrawler when the damn little blighter spawns right in front of me before I can load it.
I think you just fixed my error. My bot would go to Boreon Tundra and then fly straight in to the ocean to get battle fatigue and then die. I had loaded Profession Buddy and then under bot config chose Gatherbuddy2, I think that was my mistake. Thank you for the info, it is no longer flying to fatigue.
Open up tameablemobs, copy the code for Arcturis then go to your plugins>rarekiller2>settings then you will see a spot under the tamer that says Tame By ID, click box and paste the code you copied. I hope this helps.
Update, I tried this and it did not work. I am not sure how to farm only one rare pet either, I would love to do one at a time that way I know it can stay in the area for the spawn time. Anyone else have any suggestions?
