Hi all, As the title suggests, I'm just looking into Auction House Botting, Posting Undercutting etc that sort, How safe or how risky is it anyone got a clue? Since most other forms of botting are pretty risky at this time. Thanks
randomstraw & jordi1104 All ppl can type HIGH etc. now let me ask u2 since u know, i belive u have runned multi bots with AH and been banned alot ? or do u just talk BS. ?
i'd be nice if you could clarify why it is "high" i must totally disagree on you btw, i got one toon up shuffeling up the AH selling about 500-700 auctions per day, running 8/7 doing that for abour the third month in a row already, no bans, no suspensions just one hint: do not use the AH-Bot on Stormwind, go to exodar or darnassus when on alliance, silvermoon, undercity or thunderbluff on horde side. never use bot in SW or OG every player will instant report you, cause u can detect HB easily on his moving pattern
Very simply you are shuffling he's not he's asking becouse he wants to buyout relist and will get banned asap doing it. To the thread maker you might want to try shuffling ores but be carefull big ammounts will get you banned quikly.
I do this manually with addons for hours sometimes while i do other things, don't see how a bot with randomized intervals would be any different (TSM)
Thanks for all your answers guys, i'm slightly confused. how can they track that you're a bot by just undercutting? Could be an addon help as aaron913 stated, however by AHbotting im not referring to instabuying out stuff and shuffling. I'd be using it more for like Glyphs just undercutting and reposting
I would guess that people would notice you undercutting split-second fast after a while, and then more notices and reports start to hail.
They check out everyone with suspicious behaviour and when you're doing that you're suspicious basically when a gm checks out your account it will see you're botting and then you're banned makes sense huh?
Undercutting doesn't provide proof of botting. Infact, people wouldn't have created a bot that does this if this didn't work for real players with major success first. Addons provide this function for you; you just have to sit there and do it over and over manually. I think what you might have meant to tell the OP was that, by undercutting for a few hours straight, while /sitting in front of an Auctioneer, you might end up undercutting a real TSM / Auctioneer junkie, who in his vindictiveness flys to each of the major AHs throughout Azeroth, finds you, watches you undercut him 3-4 more times, sees you running the exact same path to the mailbox, and then undercutting him over and over. This behavior is what will get you 'caught' (or raise regular red-flags on your account) and possibly lead to you being banned. edit (note to OP): Legitimate (non-botting) Auction junkies are among the notoriously vindictive players in the game.
It gets your suspected then they look into your account and ban you. If you relist 1000 auctions every 2 minutes in an hour you would be already noticed becouse relisting that many auctions is obvious.
Super high. IMO. thats the fastest way to get banned. unless ur stuck and cant log out and are jumping in the same spot for over 5 hours. Suspending and Reposting auctions all the time to gain gold (while i believe its the fastest way for cash) its not the safest. Ruining "WoW Economy" has been an issue for getting be banned twice. i still recovered the accounts... but super annoying.
AH bot doesnt buy things with random interval. Or rather, it cant. It buys out so fast, its insane. I used to have a AH bot to snap up all those <31g herbs for inscription shuffling. It was just a $5 account so it didn't really hurt much when it finally got banned for abuse of economy. Note: The shuffler did not get banned. Only the one that buyout and put the mats into guild bank
