Pure can see an aura proc within 20-50ms of it happening (+ client latency). The only thing throttling us is the GCD. Simulationcraft also accounts for client lag when setup correctly though. We've tried coding some of the simulationcraft scripts directly into pure (Mirabis did it for balance druid, Storm did it for destro warlock) but they both did less "real damage" than what they simulate, and our variants of the rotation actually performed better.

idk if u havnt noticed, but the internet is full of crap but as ive stated earlier, im rerolling from my SP.. and my guild needs a new dps class, they told me to pick anything really :S and i'll be using the bot EVERYTIME ive gotta raid, so i don't really care about the class being what i like (got atleast one of each at 90) so its just a matter of me wanting THE best class, which isnt possible.. but a top 3 performers would have been nice.. (read the posts, stated that simcraft is closer to the dps provided with the bot than noxxic etc)
oh is it? then test your gear in simcraft. go to a test dummy and test it out for yourself with all the buffs you wont do the same dps . and in tot you will always have to move or target something else.
so just to clarify, the dps shown on simulationcraft should be (close) to the bot dps ? aka. shaman (enh) in full T15 should do 241k dps ?
thats not t15 m8. if you click on his gear you will see that it's almost all thunderforged heroic but if you want a top 3 dps class. a mage, warlock or rogue is always good
Rogue opening rotation with 5 Rupture and then Slice and Dice. Issn't the most optimal opening rotation is Mutilate -> SnD -> Mutilate -> Rupture -> Standard rotation..?? Item - Rogue T15 4P Bonus Shadow Blades also reduces the cost of all your abilities by 40%. Is there a check on 5Combo point + 5 Anticipation = 10Combo point. Spam Envenom (This may happen during BL, or BL with SB up). I do press my Envenom key repeatedly manually to use up the Combo points when the energy regen is so fast..
Is or will there be a check for proc + refresh dots use CDs addition to pure? Say for instance affliction full stacked wooshoo trinket proc when detected bot force refresh's dots? As of right now afflic is pretty crap anyway i'll run some more tests and provide logs (though svn was updated not tried new revision) But the bot pretty much cast soulburn and stood there staring at the boss i was fighting. But the refreshing on major proc's would be amazing but obviously quite annoying to code in due to a variety of trinket buffs.
*** Update - Tier Piece Support *** We can't provide support for Tier Piece Bonuses currently. HB is not returning the expected values for the detection. We are working on a workaround for that, without rewriting / maintaining hundreds of lines of code!
I dont know why but i feel Destro rotation is broken it doesnt cast chaos Bolt as often anymore actually i have gotten to 4 ambers and he keep casting Icinerate. Until he starts dumping Embers....
have i mist something or is my lock broken. last time i checked you only can get 4 embers;P? im currently using destro rotation and im absolutely destroying the meters. maybe a fresh install and updating your netframework to 4.5.
It casts CB at >= 3.5 embers to prevent hitting the ember cap (which is 4, not 5), if it has a critical bonus damage increase (DS / Skull Banner), or if it doesn't have backdraft. Ideally we want to sit at 3 - 3.5 embers until there's an active buff which will increase the damage bonus, or until we can nuke with Shadowburn (<20% HP).
As NickV has stated, this feature already exists (you can enable the setting and try it), it just isn't working as good as I need it too yet. Affliction is a high priority on my to-do list.
Are you running with default settings or do you have anything special and if you do do you mind sharing.
Using the latest HB release, I've tested on the dummies using both SV and BM and Readiness is casting correctly for me. Need to see a log to look into it more.
