I'm a multiboxer from way back in the days of BC, this was before I discovered botting and I enjoyed spending hours upon hours playing WoW. From time-to-time I still multibox some of my character, but, I prefer not having to do every single thing myself such as looting, combat etc.

I've recently been running my multiboxing team but I've done it a little different this time. I've been developing a botbase, similar to what LazyRaider does but different. LazyRaider, as the name suggests is designed for the "raiders" (or anyone who does not want to keyboard bash a hundred keys every other minute).

How is this different? Well, it doesn't really differ by much to be honest. It can still be used in the same way as LazyRaider, currently I'm using it for all my raiding and heroics in place of LazyRaider or RaidBot. Where it differs is when you're running multiple bot/characters in the same raid/instance. Like LazyRaider you can assign a follow target, and do everything else it does. But I wanted to have a little more control over what my 'slaves' do and when they do it.

One feature I've been using a fair bit is 'chat commands'. For example when I'm running a heroic I'll be tanking on my Pally and my Hunter and Monk will tag alone as 'slaves'. For the most part they will work as normal HB slaves running around following the tank and assisting where required. But occasionally I need them to do some specific tasks, such was "wait here", "follow distance 1", follow distance 30", "Loot", "scatter", "assist me".

Of cause screenshots attached. There isn't much to look at but you get the idea. So, why am I posting? Because I'm after feedback. What do you think would make an awesome assistant bot (AKA LazyBoxer), what features would be nice to have?

I'm currently using it on a number of slaves to farm various heroics for transmog gear.

I've just finished adding a few additional chat commands to allow interaction with various objects. Eg, the portals in Naxx. Once the quarter boss is dead you click the portal to be teleported back to the start. Giving the command "click the portal" instructs the slave to click the closest gameobject near the leader that contains the text 'portal'.

      I'm looking for beta testers.

The only requirement is that you have at least TWO accounts with characters you can run simultaneously.

It would be great, if it could interact with questgivers and questitems too. Also maybe a feature to turn Automatic looting on/off per hotkey?

What kind of quest giver interaction?

automatic looting can be toggled by the leader by a chat command, eg "don't loot" or "no looting" etc.

I think hotkeys would work better than chat commands - if its possible, pressing 1 button is easier than typing something.

Also quest support.. so slaves take the same quests and turn them in with the master.

Key bindings are likely to be implemented in time, but I have a metric-fuckton of keybindings already being used by various addons and my CCs so I'm rather limited with that I can use right now. Therefore, I decided to use chat commands and its worked out well.

Questing support to that level is already supported via WoW addons. Its not something I'm likely to implement.

I'll definitely be doing that. But something to keep in mind is this is not designed as a 100% replacement for an experienced, well organised multiboxer.

Think of it as an alternative to LazyRaider and RaidBot with some additional features that make it more useful for people with multiple characters in a party or raid. Having said that I've successfully 5-maned a number of heroics with ease.

Ok, so what are you looking for out of this botbase, what do YOU want it to do and how will you be using it?

Well, I do alot of world pvp so something that could keep up and assist me with most likely healing and support. I would however like to start being able to run scenarios and maybe even dungeons. A "smarter" slave being controlled by this botbase would probably be able to outperform a boxed slave that is stuck following me and doesnt have a mind of its own when it comes to procs or cooldowns. So basically looking for something that would be able to outperform a user controlled boxed slave that could assist in damage or healing. Sorry if what im saying is kind of foggy, its late here :p

Furthermore this could branch off into like as you stated, assisting in dungeons, quests and everything else.

Hey man, i would love to test this :)

I have a main account, no HB or botting on it, and a sub account i'm leveling.

I though i could use your program to get my sub account to follow my main in dungeons and such for faster xp / loot than doing Kicks lvl.

      Thanks!

I fully understand, regardless of the hour. :)

All this will do is provide you with a botbase, the CC itself - one of your choosing - would need to appropriately handle the conditions you're talking about. Where the botbase would come in is... following, assist, combat, healing etc. The use appropriate use of procs and such is dependant upon the CC being used. While I've only tested this botbase with my own CCs (Hunter, Monk (tanking, healing), Paladin (tanking), Druid (healing)) it should work with any CC. There may be some conflicting movement commands if the CC does not allow you to toggle CC controlled movement. When I'm using this botbase, in my CC settings I disable all movement and let the botbase control movement.

As its running now this is raid ready, well as far as putting out DPS, following, assisting, looting etc. Don't expect it to respond to individual fight mechanics and avoid objects where required, that is still up to you.

As for questing, as I mentioned before its not going to perform any quest turn-in or pick up, it would simply assist with combat and loot appropriately.

Sounds like the perfect use for it.
