Someone uploaded a GUI folder with some stuff in it. What's going on with that? Any way we can help test it?
Level 12 Trooper - grinding profile Unpure: Movement working, combat not. J2oe: Movement working, combat working, but sooner or later it drops in a loop and the BW takes 1gb of ram and shuts down SWTOR and BW short after. The bot has to be able to tell which tree you're using. So not only do you need to select an Advanced Class, but you have to have more points in one tree than in any other (so if you're 1/1/0 or 1/1/1, the bot won't be able to chose which routine to run).
Big question: How and when is HealingManager deciding who is the tank? I had a small problem (but it could be a big problem for other routines) today while healing a Flashpoint. I was soloing on my Scoundrel with Pure running, then my Groupfinder que popped and I zoned into Cademimu. I selected the tank, and put her as my focus target, then went around targeting mobs. The routine actually healed like a champ, but it was very obvious that it thought that I was the tank. My Sawbones routine has different logic for the tank (it keeps slow-release medpac up all the time) than for other group members (it puts slow-release medpac on at 95% health). I noticed that I was constantly pre-hot'ing myself before each fight, but I was waiting until the tank took damage before I dropped slow-release medpac on her. This eats a bit of energy, but like I said, the routine healed like a champ the whole time. This was a minor issue for Scoundrel. It would be a complete non-issue for a Sage. However, for a Commando, this would be very problematic because the routine will keep putting Trauma Probe on the healer instead of the tank. That would be something group members would notice and it would negatively affect your ability to heal. So, is there any way to force the routine to re-check for the tank? I thought setting the tank as the focus target would work, but like I said, I ran the entire FP with the routine thinking I was the tank. I can post a log if necessary (it's super long and has a lot of non-flashpoint solo'ing stuff).
I searched this thread and the original Pure thread, but I can't find the instructions on how to join dev chat. I know it has something to do with Skype. My gf is out of town until Sunday so I could hop into Skype for a bit without bugging her
nothing I can do about this.. We can't get anyones role from bw. I was hoping to use focus, but that didn't work either. The only the option is to work on a GUI. it checks the tank every tick. If tank is null at the end of the heal sweep, it sets to comp or me. This is on purpose.
Ah, that sucks that BW is so limited. Thanks for checking on it for me! I'll look forward to the GUI, and keep polishing my routines until then. In the interim, do you think if I restarted BW while in a group it would work? I was hoping to run my Commando healer in some FPs for double-XP this weekend. I might give it a shot, but I suck ass at healing in RL.
Doubtful.. I always reset my stuff when I first get in a group b/c I don't trust BW. I wasnt planning on fixing up the GUI anytime soon.
Uploaded a "quickfix" for this tank prob. Load gui, click "refresh", select tank, click "set". Testing right now. edit: works!
