Do YOU believe it is safe to bot WSG?

With it being the warsong CTA im a little converned about botting it as its a 10v10 game. This leaves ALOT higher chance to be caught, than banned. oppinions?

 

Well, first of all its never safe to bot with others players. The only bg I bot is AV - worth the risk, its awsome lvling. Huge area, lot of players, so they wont pay attention on suicide playing. Unfortunatly, WSG is opposite to AV - small area, and its look so botish... Thats just my 2 cents

 

Done it with 3 char's (call to arms) from 70 > 80, never had any single whisper about botting or whatsoever. Just get a good solid CC and maybe a modified WSG profile and you're good to go

 

Good CC and good profile, and you're good to go.
I bot with my healers in each BG, and never had whispers about bot behaviour.
Rather whisper with "Thanks for the heal, great healing , awsome!, finally a healer" etc.

And I botted WSG and others on 4 toons now to level and honorfarm.

 

So i shouldnt use the default 'WSG profile' that i have with HB 1.9.5.9 ?

 

i'm sadly not botting a priest WTB Khryptor for palas

 

Use the OneCC or any of the Paly CC's there is a healbot or 2 in there.

 

really, I wouldnt run my bot in WSG not for more then a game or two anyway, but if you are thinking about doing it, watch this video, and make sure your bot isnt doing what the guy mentions in the video, that would be a good checklist not to follow. does someone got a good profile for it..

i have the one that woot maked. but it stuck everytime at the tank

 

I'm not sure, I prefer to bot there just if I'm on the computer. Alterac was amazing.

Do Eye of the Storm, Isle of Conquest and Strand of the Ancients (next weekend) default profiles work well? I haven't tested them yet.

 

im botting it now but im in the room so i can keep my eye on it and been on it most of the day today and had no whispers or nothing running a rogue with shadowstrike cc and all is going well with default WSG profile

Also using pvp plugin which i thinks helps alot as it wont run past fights only problem im on the top of the death list most of the time lol

and out of 17 WSG horde 5 Allys 12 :-( and im horde

 

I think the xp bonus of winning cta battles is too great to miss up if you're levelling, it's certainly a welcome change from the normal grinding bot. Perhaps not the safest, but I'm running a few this weekend.

 

Botted 8 levels of WSG with wOOt's WSG and not a whisper today.

Botted 10-40 on a different toon on an old version and never had a problem then either

 

Ive been botting WSG for 8 hours now and the only whisper I had was from one of those rank teller things, and the guy whispered me saying that if I trained it, be sure to check my bar because of a bug.

Someone else was getting stuck on the tank thing near Horde with my profile. Ihavnt had it happen but I went ahead and fixed it last night, so if you get the new one you shouldnt have any issues with that.

 

its nothing compared to AV, 50/50 wins done 10 lost 4 won 6, and havnt even gained a level yet, AV is awesome on CTA
