hello buddy mates! i am wondering why bossland scrapped thier rift bot that they planned of making..i heard the trion security was too hardcore or something along that line..but i was wondering how so..and are there any reliable companys out there that make a good rift bot..i know there are alot of scammers and i found those.. the only one i saw was rift mimmic..i used thier wow bot before switching to buddy and so glad i did..but has anyone tried the rift bot? i like playing rift aswell as wow but i sink alot of time into playing rift and i would like to use a dependable bot if there happens to be one..a moderator opinion would be great on the scrapping reasons..for the rift bot? thank guys for opinions in advance!! and thank you bossland for the BEST wow bot in existence!!

yeah i can definately see what you mean and i can easily see why the game has died and only the diehards remained
it is a game where you can easily say ok this is the kind of game that i would like to play but at the same time there are many things which put you off . the artwork is very old( i called it graphics until now as i didn't know what's artwork :) ) , the spell effects are old and not shinny , some effects are cheesy , questing is bad , it doesn't have those shinny colors that wow has, combat not bad but not great either, and many people can't see through it even if the game design is brilliant , skill design is brilliant etc in my opinion the game designer/developer there is a genius but at the same it also falls short with many small and apparently unimportant things (which sadly blizzard does very well because they understood that's the only way to attract many people but they suck at the design area)

i would give it a 50% chance of succeeding as it is now when it will be full f2p because some people might say ok i don't know if i like it or not but it doesn't cost anything (more or less ) so they might as well play it . but for how long i don't know :) and there also might be people who are pissed off on blizzard who might go the rift way (because blizzard has a native talent to piss people off )

yea they had a good little bot going but almost everyone quit the game. It went from 22 servers to 4 and most (not all) of the people there are hardcore ass holes.
Everyone else is a noob moron. yea you know the type.
The devs have their problems and attitudes.
Funny when they went nuts on bots and gold sellers the game quickly went down hill, imagine that.
There have been people banned for receiving currency in the mail.

      Just let it die

Yeah i've noticed that . but they are not hardcore . just a-holes :)

They were probably just young and restless  but the game seems a bit defensive on bots and the whole economical part of a game which is bad.
Who knows maybe they will improve this aspect . (for example D3 did bring an innovation to gaming and took the Auction House game to another level - ofc there were haters but the haters were just noobs :) and Wildstar for example has already dedicated a page on their site about bringing economics to games and making it fun )

I'm not actually promoting it because i am saying all the god but all the bad also . This is just an opinion
But in the end we do need a healthy competition to wow because like irl competition improves the product . and whether this game is it "it" or there will be another one in the future we will see :)
