      New build released.

      Complete rewrite of all object interaction logic; herbs, ore, looting, quest objects etc. You should see a marked improvement in the way object interaction now works.

      I have removed some objects from the interaction list, such as doors, chairs etc. These presented a HUGE issue when inside instances!

      There are a number of debug messages still in this build, its late and I can't be bothered removing them for the public release. If you see a lot of spam just ignore it.


      I need a lot more feed back from people who have used this, total downloads exceed 100+ but only a few people are posting feed back.

      Sure. I've got feedback. Provided you have the right setting, the bot works wonders, minus one thing.

      As many people have said, zoning in and out of anywhere causes it to stop working.
      Are you working on a fix for this? I haven't seen a response from you about it.

      I spent a fair few hours today looking at the zoning navigation issue. The same issue is present in LazyRaider.

      Its definitely on the list of things that is really pissing me off and needs to be addressed soon.

      so would I be correct in assuming this is like.. an RAF users wet dream? I have about 1 month left on my RAF and have been trying like heck to get two mages questing together but as anyone knows.. horrible headache which ends up being just as slow as Non RAF and certainly not AFKable.

      Is this useable with profiles then? Partybot with quest accepting added or am I reading it wrong? The first toon (master) require playing or profileable?

      For non AFK RAF questing: This + zygor (auto flight selections, quest selection, reward turning, equipping) works pretty well.

      Zygor isn't free, and there are wow add-ons that probably do each of these tasks for free - but I like the integration. I bought zygor a loooong time ago in a galaxy far away.

      I get to play my main and have a good level of control over the progress of my slaves.

      AFK party questing will always be the holy grail - but I so appreciate what has been provided!!!

      Botorific is using it the same way I use it. I play my main character by hand and use this to assist my slaves.


      But, this botbase has two functions:

      1) it can be used as an alternative to RaidBot or LazyRaider.

      2) it can be used as a feature rich multibotting suite providing a great deal of automation to your slaves.

      It does not run profiles of any kind.


      EDIT: How and what you do with the slaves is up to you, you could run your master by HB Questing and have a high level slave assisting you. You don't have to be in a group with the master so you could use them just for higher level DPS. Currently I'm leveling 4 new character (each of different classes while also developing CCs for them), they are grouped and I play one character by hand. When the master target's a quest giver / turn in, if the slaves can either pick up or turn in a quest to this NPC they will automatically do so. There are still a number of bugs with this and a number of quests are not automatically being picked up. Depending on your settings on the Questing tab, your slaves will automatically loot quest items when within range, this can result in some very interesting chaotic times when you have 3 characters running to collect quest items and each pulling mobs along the way. :) I also have 3 characters with gathering professions, they automatically gather nodes when they are within range, paying attention to combat and acting accordingly of cause.

      any way to rename this botbase to LazyBoxer so it shows up as such? Be much easier for me to remember what it is that way. No use calling it that when it shows up as something completely different in HB >.< Possible to rename it on my own by changing something in one of the files?

      The name LazyBoxer has come about simply because I was lacking a better name at the time. Its current name Fpsware Combat Bot it what it has evolved from. Primarily it used to be my Raid / Combat bot but has evolved into what you see now.

      The next public release will have a different name, but if you want to change it now you can edit the file FPS Combat.cs and chance "Fpsware Combat Bot" to "Fpsware LazyBoxer" if you want.

      I appear to have broken the quest object interaction code in the last release. I've fixed it and will be uploading a new build soon.

      I'm also adding logic to the harvest (ore, mining, object gather) code to detect the presence of hostile mobs in your path and attack them. I really dislike that HB sees a herb and go straight for it without any concern for surrounding mobs. My code will take into account those mobs and kill them appropriately before harvesting.

      Nice work as usual fpsware!! I've been working on something similar and wish it was as polished as what you've done to share with the community. One thing though... Is there a reason you don't just implement logic to simply follow the actual in-game group leader (using GroupInfo.GroupLeaderGuid)? I use this method and can switch leaders on the fly by re-assigning the leader in game. I do have to constantly scan if current matches previous in the root behavior but I throttle that. Also, I use a global hotkey method ( i.e. IsKeyDown(Keys.F11)) to set object interaction "on" temporarily. This avoids them getting stuck at objects that remain in the CanUseNow() state forever. For movement, I've found the navigator to be unpredictable at best. Especially when zoning in to a new zone. Maybe you should consider adding a ctm fail through? My "drop everything and" MoveToMeNow behavior doesn't use the navigator at all.

      You've done some cool things I never even thought of (the chat command system is BOSS). Again, nice work and Thanks for this.

      Thanks for the feed back and the suggestions.

      The leader system I'm using was primarily designed to follow raid targets of my choosing, therefore the group leader was not suitable for my purposes. While in a party this may be appropriate its not always suitable. Also, there are times when I join other groups and I want to follow maybe the healer who is not the group leader.

      I'm going to implement global hot keys soon. There have been too many times when I have had the need for a single key press to override a given behavior. The current hot key system I have was designed a while ago and the botbase has taken a great leap forward in its original design since then.

      HB's navigation has, to put it mildly, since 5.3 release has been appalling. But I rely heavily on it for automatic object interaction, with standard CTM you can't have the character run to and automatically harvest a node and then make their way back to you. I'll probably implement something like your "drop everything and move to me now" behavior.

      Odd, I did edit that just as you stated.. Yet it still shows up as fps ware combat bot in the drop down menu. Do you mean the file name itself (what I did) or the name somewhere inside the .cs file? Maybe I need to restart the pc or something. /ponder. Either way I guess if its gonna be changed when you upload your next version I can deal. I like the name, I think it's very fitting. Gets us a lot closer to what we have been hoping for RAFwise. At least we can avoid using another add on such as jamba now.

      I've never much gotten into trying out RaidBot or LazyRaider, but then again, my World of Warcraft time since Cataclysm came out has been sporadic at best.

      I guess that I will eventually end up trying those other bot bases out as well, to see which ones work best for my needs.

      I also prefer to play my main by hand, and have the slaves follow me around. Mainly all that I want them to do is assist me in some raids that I can't quite solo (I can, but nowhere near as quick as a raid group can). I am hoping that with a proper working bot base, I'll be able to 5 man raid Ulduar/ICC for the mount drops. My only problem is that one of my bots ended up 7 or 8 levels behind the other accounts while questing, so I need to get that last bot up to par with the rest.

      I'll redownload whatever the new updates are tomorrow after work, and give you some more feedback later this week.

      hey there,

      fasntastic Idea!

      Is it also an alternative to DungeonBuddy?
      Atm Im leveling 5 chrs with RAF trough Dungeons, does it have heal support?
