Woke up to a ban, gonna call Blizzard in a bit. Take a look at my log?

Started HB at about 10pm and log shows it stopped around 10:20pm. Let me know if there's anything strange in there before I give Blizzard a call and try to pull something out of my ass. Thanks!
(Will fill out an official ban form later but heading to work right now)

PS will post a log later, too, file is too large and when I try to compress says unable to complete operation (202mb) even tried restarting computer, says don't have the rights or something. For now the post will pretty much be a placeholder.

These programs provide character benefits that are not achievable in the World of Warcraft through normal means. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Just started using GB2 a day or 2 before ban

2)If so, when was the last time?: Use it daily (for dungeons/farming/etc)

3)What profile were you using?: Randomized profiles updated every 30 mins

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Singular

5)What plugins are you using?: HBRelog, Avoidplayers, LogMeOut, Parot's Paranoid Plugin... might be missing some (sp?)

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Depended on the profile, 3-6 with breaks

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? Overall... 70%?

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: Couple hundred (from professions, no farmed mats, did NOT use AH bot)

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Bought gold before botting

10)EU or US realm? US

11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? SoR (but "paid?" I legitimately SoR'd back into the game by some hometown buddies)

 

i botted off and on yesterday till about 4pm (5-6 hours in total in 1.5 to 2 hour intervals) and logged them out and I woked up this morning to all of my accounts banned (same email as you)

 

Not sure if this helps or not, but I got kicked off the server around 10 pm (mountain time) last night. Most likely for the force update though. Do you use a relogger? Also I would play stupid, if they still say no call them back and tell them a family member logged in your account and you left your account info on the desk and you delt with the problem. just make sure you say they were underage. I have got an account back by doing so, worth a try not sure if it works now tho.

I typically use a relogger but didn't last night, just wanted to run for 30 mins for some mats. Thanks for the tip, much appreciated I'll probably end up giving this a shot!

 

I got the same thing at 4am today. I did log on at 3am for a few minutes, non-botting, and then got the email. Fired off a report and it got cleared up and my account reactivated at noon.

All i responded with in the ticket was the old play dumb routine.

yes I did. submitted at 4am, cleared at 1158am.

 

I'm sorry, I'm at work and misread your original post, you had the info in there. Sorry about that nit! Hopefully mine is good 2 go within 8 hrs too!

 

I hope the best for you. I have had several bans very similar or identical to the one you listed and personally I have never had a ban lifted.

However even in this very thread there is a success story so you certainly have a chance.

Yeah, I've ran into some of your posts, sorry to hear none of them were lifted =\. I appreciate the kind words!

 

No problem. Let us know what happens. Usually you can get a gauge for how things are going in the blizzard world by how many bans are being lifted. I literally just read another post about someone having their ban overturned so it seems like they're in a good mood.

 

Maybe it's like the police/highway patrol theory. They're being pretty good about it since it's the first half of the month. If it's the end of the month and quotas need to be hit, you can forget about any kindness =p

 

Haha maybe. I should go back and look at me recent bans. See if they were in the beginning or near the end.

I suppose I'm a bit more stupid than I had thought. Because I'm wondering how you or anyone else for that matter, were botting in the first place. My and most others HB hasn't worked since that sneak in patch they did two days ago and this post is dated today, saying you got banned at 10:20pm. I just tried starting HB again and it's still got no update message and still says I've not logged into a valid World of Warcraft thing. Just read a post that says they are still working on an update to HB. Shug. Guess I'm totally stupid in my older age. Not trying to start anything. Just trying to understand.

 

Maybe different time zone/different region? Those times I put down (1020pm) referred to last night, before my launcher updated to the new patch, so this was when HB was still working. Is that what you're talking about? Hope that cleared it up.

 

Nod, That makes more sense. But it's probably that patch that got you busted. Meaning you were on the game and HB and while you were on and they tried to que your game for the patch while you were still on it and with HB too. Not sure if that had anything to do with you getting busted, but I've heard this sort of thing happening before at patch time. Thanks for the explanation. Yeah that might be what happened, wanted to post my log but it's being crazy and it's too large and won't let me compress it >_<. Before going to bed I just threw GB2 on for just 30 mins to be safe, since the rolling restarts were about 8-9 hours away, figured I'd be safe. Unless it was something from prior reports or what have you, all it took was that 30 mins I put the bot on for =(. Ah well, lets see how my next appeal goes!
