Maybe Win 8 is not compatible? raphus?

 

So 1 day and no respond from a Dev.We are working on it responds would be "courteous" But i guess the problem isn't that big of a deal A.

On Win8 Arelog works only if WoW is on DX11.

When the dx9 requirement got expanded to 11 many people weren't aware. Nice for flexibility.

 

yes, but dx11 works till a long time, i'm using it since hb works on win8.

Maybe a little more information? OS? DX? No one here has a crystal ball.

 

Just add couple of bots to Arelog, restart Arelog and you will get this error.

Windows 7 & 8, DX 9 & 11, same results.

 

What! The only info is since the last up date it started to give error message,and i did clean install and it still shows error.And yes you should have a crystal ball,go out a buy one.

Google the error, there are many many Threads about this issue:

"Moty is right, in most of the cases this exception indicates something on your machine is blocking your connection. Try running it with firewall/antivirus disabled. This is not permanent, just for testing if this is setup issue or code issue. If it passes without the firewall/antivirus then you have to find a way to allow it through them - add it to the firewall exceptons, etc.

If this doesn't work the next step is to take a network sniff to see if your request goes out and what's being send on the wire. Post the sniff and/or a code snippet and we will investigate.

Trying to run the program (tried running as admin, got the same problem) I get this error message: A referral was returned from the server. Any ideas??
