[PureRotation] Warlock - The Ultimate Level 90 PvE/PvP Routine

So it does. CB has a 3 sec cast time though, so any clipping should be very little, and the game is forgiving allowing DoTs to clip. I think making a change to cater for that 0.5s (or whatever your cast time is reduced by with haste) will break the routine in other ways.

 

Demonic Update;
- No new screenshots, but minor changes made to GUI.
- Code for settings to save/load all done for General/Talent tabs (> 1000 lines of code!).
- Started to write the 'common' code, i.e. talents/pets/drain life/health funnel.

Yes, this thread is related to the main PureRotation thread, I've just been giving details out over the past few days of my new and upcoming standalone CC for warlocks, Demonic. You can read back over the previous couple of pages if you're interested.

*Edit*; Oh, and my level 16 warlock works very, very well with the routine even in it's current state.. survivability from handling drain life / health funnel / healthstones etc is excellent

At the speed im going at the minute it won't take too long for the main code to be done, but then comes the testing/tweeking/re-prioritising/tuning/performance testing. I'm working on this ~12 hours a day or so at the minute.

5.4 changes will only set me back an hour or 2, not concerned about that.

I'm not releasing it until it's in a good working state though.

 

Let me know if you need testers Millz, I will gladly help,dontate, support etc. In terms of affliction is there a way to code it so if it sees crit/int etc procs that it auto refreshes the dots? I believe PR is written this way as well.

 

One step at a time young padawan. That will come later, for now getting it fully functional is my priority. Fixed suspending movement and targeting, however honorbuddy appears to bug blacklisting mobs for no reason while questing. Affliction is coming along pretty well.

Demonic looks like it's awesome, cant wait to try it out! I'm bad at PvP

I did have an issue where I changed Use AoE to False on automatic mode and it wouldn't do anything on a Raiding Dummy, yet if I changed target (to a different raiding dummy, it worked, wierd.... It wasn't a big deal, it didn't happen in a raid, I might test it again when I get a chance and put up a log see if there is anything wrong...

 

Think I know what could cause that issue, but spending all of my time on demonic at the moment, it's not a big enough bug to require an urgent fix.

Made some serious progress today. All of the base routines are complete, including abiding by the settings in the GUI. Next step is to do some proper testing, find performance bottlenecks, find/fix bugs, and then create all of the preset settings (so you can click 'Load From XML' -> Questing.xml or PvP.xml... You get the idea).

Haha glad you think so. I thought about making some of the more advanced stuff configurable, but i've decided to leave that under the hood. It'd just confuse a lot of people. If I get enough time I'm aiming for a release within the coming days.... bugs dependant of course.

 

You should definitely release advanced stuff and just put it under a "advanced user" tab. Glad process is going smooth for you

hey Millz, 525 ilvl, i am destro actually, u think a good idea raid with demon or affliction? raiding with bot all the time
or destro is the best spec for raid botting?

 

Pvz. All rotations are working fine. Just check the status priorities/gems/reforge etc. I personally am holding back until I get the legendary meta and trinket off of lei shen before swapping.

I run destro purely because its my favourite spec, but as Tappedout says, all 3 specs work good.

Off-topic, just tested demonic for the first time in a BG. Full PvE gear, PvE talents/glyphs (forgot to change them)... 10 kills 2 deaths lol.

 

that is what i call pure ubberness! Good job man! I use destro lock as well cause i like seeing the big numbers on chaos bolt.
