1. Theoretically, this is possible (we'd have the aoe check if the target has a CC debuff), but this would be a massive amount of work. Probably never going to happen. You'll just have break the CC or pause the rotation and play by hand for CC encounters. 2. It'll work just as fine in OPs as it does in FPs. We left all taunting up to the user, so main and off-tanking won't change.
Healing rotations will have pretty minimal DPS output because they're not even designed to DPS in groups and the aoe spells use a ton of Force/Heat/Energy. I'd recommend Walter's routine for grinding and questing. It's designed more for AFK botting, while Pure works best when you're at the keyboard.
Please post a log. No matter how detailed your description, the log is always more helpful. I'm guessing it's an old file that I forgot to mirror over when I fixed up my Shadow specs.
I have mostly healed in raids, but I did also dps one time. For that, I made an AOE toggle(F7). I would suggest using that when you dont want to AOE.
Bodyguard is a healing spec. Theres really only minimal dps in the routine. I would highly suggest switching to arsenal to level. I leveled my merc with arsenal spec 1-55 with BW. Respec'ing is no big deal.
Update! After fixing an issue with large bosses that also appeared to fix and issue I was noticing with pvp, and issue with melee movement arose. Fixed that, now ill have to make sure the other things are still working tomorrow.
Up to lvl 35 my Assassin tank was a beast, it still is but every now and then it pauses as if it's waiting for a CD or something. I hope I attached the log properly? Throughout the log you will see the pauses but easiest I guess to scroll to the bottom right before I closed HB. This happens while questing and running flashpoints. Hope it helps! Cheers
looks like its stalling while checking for 3 stacks of "Harnessed Darkness". I don't have an Assassin leveled yet. Does it ever successfully cast Force Lightning with 3 stacks of that buff?
View attachment 2013-07-06 07.41.txt I did a clean install of buddywing and it fixed the movement issue. But it still had issues with the lockup on the Force Ligning
It does sometimes, but sometimes it doesnt, all I do to stop that is either cast force lightning or just click the buff off and it'll start back up again. This is what I posted about earlier and just posted a log for. Another thing is Maul should be cast still as a tank, just with the conspirator's cloak buff, so I added Spell.Cast("Maul", ret => Me.HasBuff("Conspirator's Cloak")), into the rotation, just something you guys might want to add
I can check on this later on in the day. If you have time Ama, just mirro what I have in my Shadow routines, they work fine.
k, mirror of shadow is up. It didnt change anything with that stack count. If it is still snagging, ill have to take a closer look.
Ha, we tried to upload at the exact same time. I couldn't figure out why it was snagging either, but I was working on the same fixes you added (Energized charge count to Shock and in-combat Maul).
I will try some error catching methods a little later. My assassin is lvl 15, so ill have to level him a little to work on the error. This is probably related to the targeted laser stack count issue I was having. Super annoying.
I'll do a few flashpoints right now on my assassin and fill you in on the update. It didn't even cast the first force lightning this time. Just went straight to lockup, I cast it myself then it continued rotation. View attachment 2013-07-06 16.08.txt
I highly doubt this is the problem, but you could do me a favor just to eliminate this possibility: Delete your entire BW folder and reinstall. Do a fresh update from the Pure SVN. I'm only having you do this because I'm running nearly the exact same spec on my Shadow and it doesn't lock up anymore.
That was what I did earlier, and still had the issue. I did my own modifying of your scripts and now everything is working fine, and to how I would like. If you've had any updates within the past hour though then I'm not sure if its fine. After I'm finished with what I'm doing I can test that out. Eh, after 20 minutes of what I did it froze again same thing with force lightning. Yet worked for almsot 20 mins ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So I did a fresh BW install, fresh update from SVN, no plugins enabled, SWTOR on Real Time priority, both run as administrator, and still first go at 3 stacks of harnessed darkness it locked up, so I right clicked the buff off and low and behold it started doing the rotation again. View attachment 2013-07-06 23.43.zip Hey Ama, I think something is wrong with the DoRandomGrind function. In the log, you'll see a section where it just sits there and casts Force Speed over and over again. The target was about 40m away and the bot just froze up. As soon as I got within 30m of the target, the bot started working fine again. All the kills you see in the log are a result of me manually moving the bot into 30m range.
What changes did you make to the routine for your custom one? I just ran my Shadow routine for about 30 minutes to make sure and it experienced no lock ups during the rotation (nav server was another issue :/ ). You can just copy/paste the changes you made here and I'll see about adding them to the rotation.
