[E]Makeb Dailies What does it do? This profile does 7 Empire Makeb dailies from the mission terminal. What doesn't it do? Obviously doesn't do group or the seeker droid/binoculars dailies. What do you need to do? Have the dailies unlocked and start buddywing at gravity hook seven loading ring. Known Issues: Buddywing may hang at "waiting on taxi" after taking a taxi resulting in the bot running off in a random direction(maybe falling to their death over and over). Bugs: Try to provide as much info as possible and include a log. Keep in mind though that I can only fix problems caused by the profile. I can do nothing for problems caused by the nav server/Buddywing. You need to have the dailies unlocked for this to work. I think 4/5 of them are picked up while doing the quest chains on Makeb and you get 3/4 when you complete Makeb. Can you go to mission terminal at gravity hook 7 loading ring and see if you can even pick up any dailies?
Any idea how to fight the waiting for taxi bug without restarting the game and the bot? Do we know what causes this? *edit* I also strongly advise you change your hotspots on non-routine maintenance to avoid the catwalks all together. It suicides constantly because it's not smart enough to avoid mobs that it can't walk straight to.
The Taxi thing is caused by whatever variables make buddywing questing run either good or bad. When it happened for me I usually was just able to hit stop and then start again and it would work again. I Didn't need to restart both the bot and swtor. Can you try to set your toon's pull distance to 1 and see if it works good on the catwalks? I forgot to say in the main post but I believe I ran with a lower pull distance to avoid falling off the catwalks and to avoid pulling as many mobs I didn't need as possible. I was going to have it use only the 3 hotspots that don't use the catwalks but they are the highest traffic areas so I didn't want the bot to take too long trying to do the quest as well as steal other people's mobs. I could still change it to just those 3 though if you still think its best. Does it complete all the other quests ok?
It was running into issues with the sonic probes, but I'm not really sure if anything could be changed there. Everything else runs very well, however. Thanks for this! Too bad there isn't one for Republic
Just some additional feedback/tip or whatever: I commented out the seismic probe quest because that daily is just not worth it. There's like 9 spawns for the 25 players doing the quest and on top of that the bot runs through a pack it can't kill causing a lot of trips to the graveyard. I finished my dailies an hour earlier by commenting that quest out. It's honestly just not worth it.
Yea, I was not going to even include that daily since it was a bitch and took too much time but I wanted to see other people's input on it. I think I'll remove that daily and those few catwalk hotspots for the other daily when I have time. I have no plans to do any repub dailies or questing so you can go ahead and do it.
Was going to start today... but it'll be agonizingly slow because A) I'm really busy and B) I suck at this
Im already creating the republic version. Past few weeks ive been very busy with other stuff but im finetuning it now.
Oh good. I'm going to keep working on mine until you release yours, just in case, but I'm glad someone else is on that! I've had 0 time to work on a daily profile
