I absolutely love this CC. Works great for all my toons. My WW monk, Frost DK and Resto Druid. it truly is an all in one masterpiece. But for my DK, Is there a way to change the casting time of Horn of Winter? Instead recasting on end of cooldown, can you have it cast like 5 sec before the buff ends. It would increase dk dps when you don't have to cast Horn of winter every 15 sec when the buff lasts 5 min. Edit: unless there is a setting that im missing to change it somewhere
i'm still wondering what's the optimal class for each role :S might sound dumb, (i guess) but i really want the best of the best performance xD i lose my interrest in raiding if im not performing optimal
Storm, I'm having problems updating with svn. Everytime I do checkout I get this: Command: Checkout from purerotation - Revision 1590: /trunk/PureRotation, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included Error: Can't create directory 'C:\Program Error: Files\HonorBuddy\Routines\PureRotation\.svn': Access is denied. Completed!: Any ideas what I'm doing wrong. Ive tried doing as an update to my current version I'm using and also to an empty folder. I can check out with profiles no problem, so I know there is no problem with svn itself.
Try and run it as Administrator? might be the issue since it says "Access is denied." - not sure tho.. try it out
HoW also generates 10 runic power so unless u never need any which you should I dont know if this is a good fix?
Horn of Winter - Spell - World of Warcraft deeluxejon is right tbh, "Horn of Winter, which generates 10 Runic Power and increases attack power of all party and raid members within 100 yards by 10%. Lasts 5 min." So basically that's 10 "free" Runic Power, every 20 seconds, with a GCD on 1 second so it's "worth it" to keep using it every 20 seconds to regain the 10 RP, aka. it's a fault to "fix" the "fault" ;D hope it helped!
Was just about to say that lol Being 528 Frost DK, I need the RP for a stable rotation. It's a good filler while all runes are on CD and you could have 20 RP and that HoW gets you another FS which could proc free runes. So to the OP that said it's a dps loss to be cast every 20 seconds, please for the love of god learn to play a DK properly. *Disclaimer* I do know how to play my DK without PR. I am using it for hard mode at the moment, so I may focus entirely on mechanics. Tyvm.
Ok im convinced HoW is useful using on cd. never noticed the 10rp until now. Im still having a problem updating the CC through svn. Ive looked every and cant find where to set the app to run as administrator. I still keep getting access denied when updating BTW, there is only 1 account on the pc since im the only one that uses it
You right click what you want to open, then select 'run as administrator'. There is a setting somewhere to change it so it auto does this 24/7.
I know how to do that with programs that have an exe file. but svn is a constant running program that runs in the background
Problems while changing zones. Bot does use skills when port to a different place. In this log, I attacked the raid dummy for like 5-10 secs in the Shrine of Seven Stars, then used the portal to port to Stormwind and attacked the raid dummy for a few secs. trust me ... this is already recognized i'm not blindly changing stuff^^ there are two locations in a DK rotation where to use the HoW the first one uses HoW asap when it falls of, this is what we want, cause we want our buff the second one has the absolutely lowest priority (it is the last spell) and will cast HoW all the time we drop below 20 Runic Power, this is a good value for a filler spell in my opinion to have no downtimes in our rotation. feel free to test and report back the first version (casting on cooldown) was a waste of gcds because HoW had a much to high priority for this where it wasted 1 second of a procc what is basicly one lost second where we could get a new procc
What do you people think about the Resto shaman routine in Purerotation? Im not totally convinced :-( ilvl 505, only doing 37k hps on a AoE fight like Megaera - isnt exactly very good.. Edit : 27k hps on Ji-kun. Not exactly good, in fact very very crap. Doesnt use chain heal, doesnt use healing rain, didnt even buff Water Shield. Cant recommend this to anyone, in its current state.
L?st night my guild start new raid alters, and my shammy healer are very low in healing? Any ETA for Oracle? If posible make better rotation for restauration PR?
- Water Shield - okay this is easy to fix - everything else: learn to setup your CombatRoutine, learn to attach a log ... aaaaaaaand u know bout comparing CRs when doin lfr is the biggest crap ever? CRs are mainly focused on efficiency and performing as exact as possible ... humans will overheal like hell... so if u wanna give feedback u should: - try to adjust your settings (aoe healing count and healthpercentage... i'm sure u used default values!) - try in a 5m or 10m instead of lfr - attach a log! and back to your suggestion: we know about the bad performance in healing for each and every class / specc atm, wulf is currently on that topic and doin some really nice magic with it, but because of some RL stuff (which is definetly more important) ... he needs some more time for the healing rewrite
Hi PR Devs, I updated this morning, then i tested UH in LFR (Dumuru) and this is the result: As i showed you the log before on page 171 (if im not wrong), CR just spam Plague Strike even though dots are already applied to the target. The most dps on single target should be Scourge Strike for UH. Hopefully, it will be fixed. Greatest All in One CR atm. P.S The new update has no option for Soul Reaper setting.
