Been having the same problem. It would only skin mobs that other people have killed (ninja skin), not the ones that I have killed. Useless feature atm.
1.9.6.0 - skinning not working still 9/21 I don't see how more people aren't having this problem. I haven't paid too much attention to ninja skin, but every now and then it will skin a mob that it's killed. The skinning successes that it has though are sparse and seemingly random to me. /BUMP!
Which log do I post, just copy/paste a chunk of the Debug Log where it should be skinning but isn't? I just closed HB, removed a few plugins (eBuy was giving pulse errors I thought might be to blame) and when I started, the bot immediately skinned a couple of nearby already dead mobs (i.e. ninja skin) but went on to kill several skinnable mobs and not skin them.
Here is a log from Nagrand, killing Talbuks. No skinning despite having 375/375, regular and ninja skinning ticked.
Okay, this log should be helpful. At the start, he skins four Talbuks and an Elek that I had already killed in Nagrand. This only happened because I restarted the HB client, so assume it was just ninja skinning. After that, I killed lots more and it didn't skin anything else. It seems to be blacklisting a lot in the log, even though it does pick up and loot the regular greys, just doesn't then skin.
Same issue here. Comes up with "Lootable isn't lootable...blacklisting" every time i get a kill and doesn't skin. /edit - Just upgraded to 1.9.6.1 but made no difference
1.9.6.0 with hunter the one cc is skinning just fine for me. I have noticed issues with HB if you have .xml settings files in the HB directory AND also in the settings folder... deleting the settings from the root dir and leaving them in the settings folder seems to have fixed my problems.
I'm running a hunter with 'the one' and it's skipping tons of skinnable things No settings file in root either.
1.9.6.3 fixed skinning for me, but it seems that build was bugged for everyone. The latest build breaks it again and now my toon skins maybe 1 out of 20 dead animals. I've submitted a bug to the tracker but no one has looked at the tracker since last month. I put in as much detail as I could and have a few other bugs to submit too (I used to be a professional tester). Is it worth doing bug reports though since these forums seem more read? I'd love to help more by submitting detailed bugs I find, but only if it's worth it!
You could try out my SkinningFix plugin. I had the same problem, but with this plugin skinning works quite well again.
