Hey guys, just wanted to post that i got 2k in 2v2 last night using Tyrael botbase and Tuanha's hunter CR. We will keep climbing to 2.2k most likely. my partner is a disc priest and i am BM hunter, its going very well so far, he's great and we're doing awesome with a very overpowered comp. Thats all i wanted to post! thanks.
im curious, have never used bot in arena myself. considered it but never tried (im 2k playing normally). how automated is it ? do you have to do target switches yourself, is it any good at knowing which spells to cc/interupt?
I thought about using HB for arenas but it felt like cheating. I would have the CC handle the DPS on my target while I only focus on utility as a hunter. Sounds very logical considering how OP both classes are together at the moment. Congrats
I found it interupts fears, dominate mind, heals, but i turned it off and interupt on my own as i dont want to waste it on a healing surge at 90% when im gunna need it for a hex (example) i scatter on my own but i push a button for it to throw a trap so i can use it on root and whatnot. i do web wrap on my own, i do disengage on my own, i do detterence on my own, i do master's call on my own. i also do the targetting, the movement, and pretty much anything that matters.
Depends on the CC you are using.. I use tuanha dk's cc for arenas, and I love it so much. Technically, it'll move and target for you, but that's just asking for a loss seeing as how it's not going to be the person you want, and it'll just run in, etc. Tuan does an excellent job with his CC's. He uses logical interrupts. For instance: Me and my partner are going against a Dps/Healer. We both focus the dps, and as we are downing the dps, it'll keep an eye on the healer. If the dps is down while my burst is going (I have it set to where it'll pop burst at 70%), it'll asyphxiate the healer automatically. It'll also death grip and mind freeze as well. So pretty much all you do is set your focus target and move and target, Tuan does the rest
For some of us, get a 2k arena achievement is just more more precious than farming 200k gold... and that a story
To most people getting 2k in arenas is a big success, especially when you realize it was done by a bot, a bot beating 2k players. I have recently also achieved 2k on my DK, my monk AND my rogue using tuanha's CRs
