Just returned to the PC - farming WG ... Had a wisper saying 'hello' ... I replied and he responded with 'ah finally, an answer, why do you bot, I have just reported you' He then goes on to say 'It's easy to spot, I have frapsed you' 'I think you should stop botting or your going to get banned' .... I told him to go enjoy his game ... he said 'I cant enjoy my game when people are botting, it spoils my game, that's why I report them and they stop' Even as I'm writing this he's still sending wispers ..... Yawwwwwn - what a gimp, think he needs some bedroom action!
there was a thread about month or so back, about another knuckle head doing the exact same thing, wonder if its the same guy....
Well Im keeping an eye on the bot at the moment ... he's just whispered again saying 'there are now 5 bots in WG, 4 including you, but I hope your not botting now' .... he's then whispered all the names of the people he thinks are botting WG so he's obviously reported them all .... Thinks he the WOW Police this guy ....
Does he feel as if Blizzard will like him more when he does this? I bet he feels like a bounty hunter, is he by any chance a hunter? Sorry for you to be bothered like this though, I hope you do not get serious trouble! I have been getting whispers being AFK so I really need to start using some reply plugin Good luck to you PS Could you ask him if he has a Boba Fett figure of some sorts in his possession in real life?
There is a big bot reporter going around on Ravencrest EU server - Not my server I know its against the rules to post server names, just reporting what CodenameG was referring to.
I also agree, but at the same time we bot so we have a social life and do other thing's apart from playing on video games all day and night while other people follow bots round waisting away at the there pc just to report a botter lol i just think people report botter's cause there jelous becuase they spend countless hour's leveling up a alt were we can spend 10 mins setting up a bott and can level up without any interaction.
anyone know if theres any 'reporters' on auchindoun ally my mate plays on there and said hes had whispers before but idk what they said exactly. I was considering making a toon there but yeah..
I'm pretty sure there are people like this on most servers .... Obviously the higher the server population the more chance there will be of encountering such people. I wonder how seriously Blizz take these player reports and how much follow up action they take as I guess many times the player reports turn out to be false/untrue.
It seems as if more people go "bot hunting" now. This has several reasons I think... -More people start to bot these days, so it's more remarkable to the normal players. And so more people get pissed at us. This problem might be solved by the next big banwave or sth like that. (not that I wish to have a banwave^^) -People have nothing to do anymore. Everybody is just waiting for Cataclysm... the peoble are bored of ICC and the rest of the wotlk content and so they need sth do do in their WoW time -People farming gold for cataclysm...I think more regular farmers are out these days because everybody wants to get some gold to bhe prepared for the expansion - And the decline of Ah-prices. The ah prices are really low and so the regular farmers get less money for their farmed goods and if you do it per hand it's really annoying how long you have to farm to actually get some gold...and so they get pissed at us again because we don't have to put in this effort and we ruin "their" prices. To me it isn't a problem..I have only gotten 2 whispers this wek on my 8 bots... Also the guy on ravencrest...the bots he catches are 95% chinese who don't care about it. Look at the names of the toons he catches...nobody here would be so dumb and call his toon Frgztrt or sth...If you are a bit carefull he won't get you
I LOLED so hard when he said I have a bot detection addon. But people like that needs to get a damn life who the hell just follows people and fraps them, like to think they don't have anything better to do, like get a damn life, play to enjoy have fun that is why games are made to have fun, if people wanna bot then let em bot their choice.
They may have nothing better to do ... but i wonder, why do you talk with them. Ignore is your friend, after they say hello preferably.
If people start conversations with me (hardly ever happens btw), I just say im a 12 year old girl, and that my parents tell me not to talk to anyone outside my guild... That way running into walls and posts can easily be explained. This shuts them up very quickly...
