It's stopped operation already. Basically it offer a service to made up a good story that sound like you got hacked, then the rest depend on luck and how Blizzard AA team react. The owner is "WoW Lawyer" or something, I can't find the link.

Thanks anyway, One of my friends accounts was 100% clean and he got hacked anyway blizzard said he wasnt hacked and wouldnt unban him he really was and his toons were stripped down and his gold sold etc. He didnt bot or ever sell gold I think at most he got like 1k gold from me for free and my accout is still fine. ive actually had a few friends hacked and I think its phishing emails even though they deny it. To say you were 'hacked' if you didnt open any phishing emails or download any viruses is retarded because it logically wouldnt happen.

      Mass Ban's: My theory
Blizz will hold on MANY account's that have been reported by other player's, they will sometimes ban a few, or quite a few. When they have enough account's that violated the ToS and blizz has proof through investigating/monitoring your account, they set a date to mass ban them. Usually after an Expansion Release.

Yeah, I really don't read any Email's from blizzard that I get in my inbox unless I can't login my account. I am not even worried about getting hacked because I have a blizzard authenticator on my account, I could tell everyone my user / pass they wouldn't be able to hack it.

Here it goes. This is good advice for life in general: When you've got nothing to lose (you've been fired, your account has been banned, you've been pulled over, you've been charged an overdraft fee, etc.), it never hurts to ask. Always try. All service industries are still ultimately run by humans (whether it was a computer that flagged your account or not), so if you approach someone and you're cordial, you would be surprised as to what you can accomplish. Everything is possible as long as you try. Failure is not trying.

Go ahead and ask. Two scenarios: They restore your account. Or it stays banned. So you either lose nothing, or get your account banned. Why wouldn't you try?

As for people suggesting you don't even bother, I can only see ulterior motives in that.

Yeah, you said exactly like what the WoW Lawyer in Mmowned said: "You lose nothing when trying to unban, why not try it". I truly thought that it makes sense, so I've tried to make up a story and asked them to re-investigate my case every single time I got banned. At the beginning, they're still nice and really take some time to re-investigate my cases. But after a while, maybe they're too busy, maybe they're too stressed, maybe they know to much about me after all these investigations, or just simply too pissed off about my nonsense made-up stories, they ban the rest of my accounts and clear off all of my gold stock in my guildbanks. From that time until now, they've scared the shit out of me that I dare not to send any single email to them ever again. Ever.

So please take his advice carefully. If you have only 1 account and it got banned, if you really have nothing to lose, do it. Take his advice. But if you have more accounts botting, think twice before doing this. You will never know when Blizzard employees got stress, being dump by his girlfriends, or something like that, and will want to beat you really hard only to stop you from keep bothering him.

Probably much like x-box live bans where Blizzard (or Microsoft) will find a way to pick up on the activity they want to stop, hold their horses for a couple of months (no point banning straightaway as that will just alert people who haven't logged in / been banned yet to hold off) then let you have it.

After Cataclysm would be a good time. Imagine waiting for the last 6 months with baited breath for Cataclysm, whetting your appetite for 3 weeks, really liking it then BAM! How many people wouldn't buy a new account? For all we know (and I know absolutely nothing about the inner workings of HB or GB) Blizzard could already have all our cards marked already and be detecting bots but are holding off for exactly this reason. Or they may never be able to detect them.

Boting/hacking detected. Added to list. Not banned straight away as they want to milk a few more $ out of you. Then bye bye.

HB has never ever ever had a banwave. GB, I think only had 1, in it's early stages, due to a fault, but that has been cleared up.

anyone know what teh fault was? im curious is all. As for HB I really just think its knobheads who bot themselves who go around reporting people. I think with all the money bliz make they could easily afford to do waht aion did and have a botting detection unit that raids servers 24/7 for bots.

I've been perma banned 6 times and have gotten out of it every single time using the same excuse. I was banned for selling gold, Power leveling, and botting.

Why do you even bother saying this if you aren't going to explain how you did it...

software detection through warden = almost 100% perm ban
suspicion of botting because of player report / gm whisper without replying = seems like it depends a lot on who works on this, friendly or angry gm XD, normally you've got a pretty good chance with a good excuse..as they can not prove that you where botting (cause of no possible software detection at the moment )
