Nice to see still hard at work Don't suppose anything any of us novices can do to help you at all in any way shape or form? bar donate lol
Unfortunately no, if there was something the community could assist with I would certainly be forward in asking. Unfortunately it is merely a time and effort situation on my part.
Damn! There goes my idea!!!! (You totally deserve it for lazybot anyway - so incoming....and salute!)
fpsware, great project Would it be possible to make an option to import/export shopping lists? And then have the option in PB to tell FJ to go farm X mats in zone Y, by loading this shoppinglist into FJ. It might be alot of work, im just thinking here
Probably not. EDIT: Mostly because this would require PB and FJ to work together and use the same file format and structure. I think its a neat idea all the same.
Today's progress ... because there won't be any tonight (and for the next 4 days) Blacklisting working - again. Normalized height when navigating to node locations. Further optimizations with node location clustering. All mailboxes added for Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, MoP. Alliance only and only those that do not require quests to access / use. Clean up "Node Navigation Type" option "Closest Node". Now smoother and more efficient. Multizone spanning node maps tested to perfection! Guild bank depositing working - again.
Sweet, getting excited for the first time in a long time about WoW, going to level up an old account just to have a play with this. G
I'm also going to implement k-means clustering for a more optomized path. k-means clustering - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Actually, in thinking about it you're right. Even though the clusters would grow slightly they would not grow enough to generate a great enough variance on the centroid, thereby eventual triggering LCP. BUGGER!
The issue I'm currently trying to overcome is too many node locations resulting, this resulting in numerous over lapping of locations to visit. At present my only means to over come this is once the character reaches a node location, check the 'ActiveList' for all other node locations within 200 yards (HB's max scan range) and remove them. Lets say you have 400 node locations in Zone1, once it reached Location1 it checks to see how many (if any) of those remaining nodes are within 200 yards, if 10 are in range they are removed from the list, leaving you with 398 node locations to visit.
Mike, In theory, this sounds good, but what would be different than having a GB2 profile with 2 hotspots, on opposite sides of a zone or continent? The first pass is "random". The second pass, even if the nodes it originally passed on the first pass are randomized, is still going to use multiple hotspots it just used seconds ago, once it starts the loop. Seems to me it would be better to add the hotspots in concentric circles (a minimum of 200 yrds apart and hotspots a minimum of 5 yrds apart) per zone/continent. You could also do this making a multizone profile with literally 1000's of hotspots. This would allow for countless hotspots per zone. And altho not randomized, by the time it completes one circuit which could literally be hours, any LCP detection would have reset.
FPS, I don't post much as you can tell but I had to ask for I didn't see any thing on this and yes I have read and followed this post since the start. Would it be to hard to add in the option to add in your own vendor/mailbox location? Or the option to change 1 or 2 of the vendor/mailbox locations in the zones your farming in. This way the vendors/mailboxes are per user or default but gives the option or feel of being more random than everyone going to the same 1 or 2 locations to do their selling /mailing? Thanks for the hard work and looking forward to this new and innovative botbase
Vendoring, mailing and such is something I'm working on at the moment, well, I will be on Monday. As it stands it will find the closest mailbox to your current location based on the continent you're in. Currently the mailboxes I've added to the database are all those that are accessible to a character who has not done any questing or completed anything special. In essence its the most basic of locations added. I may allow the option of adding your own mailboxes and vendors upon release.
I'll be including node maps for every zone in every continent by the time its released. There will be hundreds of hotspots per zone.
Another place in preparation of the house being demolished. But the rebuild could still take over a year.
