[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Yeah it's fixed on premium. Still need to change it on the free version. Had some issues so i've been set back on the developing yesterday/today.

 

When i go to in combat at battleground my fps drops and unable to play. both anti lag enable and tyrael framelock on with 40 fps...

 

You should allways post a log if you have issues with profile/routines, it makes it easier to debug and help.

 

Disable all of the settings for things you dont have talented / don't want etc. The more things you turn off, the less the routine has to check. You need to remember that it's checking the auras, what everyone is casting, everyones health percentages etc many times per second, so it will always have some FPS drop. The more players around you, the worse it gets.

 

I've perfected Doom with UVLS - finally. Had to add in cancel current cast if we need doom and perfect aim is up, but it's working great now.

- Removed some misleading logging
- Fixed exceptions when on loading screens
- Fixed exceptions with DoTManager
- Demonology: If target is boss or player, and HP below 25%, don't cancel meta form (unless Corruption has dropped).
- Demonology: Changed Dark Soul conditions where target is boss or player to account for the change above.
- Demonology: Don't cancel Metamorphosis form if I have UVLS trinket, and current Doom on target is less than 100% crit.
- Demonology: Doom + UVLS trinket is now working as it should.
- Demonology: Added cancel current cast if Perfect Aim active and we need Doom.

 

dest spec cast just immolate in raid or on dummy whats wrong?..

gets fury starved way too ofter, at low fury <less then 60, switches to meta and just stands there and tries to spam something, getting not enought of fury spam on screen.

also could you change or optimize starting burst rotation a bit? still misses crit doom if it applies normal doom before trinket proc at start.

with this update, dps went down by good 15k

Also it's on purpose that it uses chaos wave just before cancels meta instead of HoG? happends quite often.

 

I think the fury starving is because I've got it set to stay in demo form if crit doom hasn't been applied. I think I'll revert that part of the code back, but I honestly don't think there's much more I can do with the UVLS trinket. I keep making little tweeks to try and handle it better, but it just ends up breaking something else. The theory of it is completely different when you actually put it into action.

The chaos wave thing is a bug, should only do that on AoE. I'll check it out.

*Edit* Just did 30m damage on a dummy and perfect aim didn't proc once...!

 

[03/Aug/2013 - Update #3]
- Demonology: Reverted the 'dont cancel meta form when UVLS trinket' change in previous update.
- Demonology: Fixed Hand of Gul'dan directly after switching into metamorphosis form.

 

Still ignores UVLS procs here and there, refreshing corruption and casting shadowbolts... etc while under proc

Also noticed that on some UVLS procs it goes to meta but it doesnt refresh doom, by looking at logs it says that Doom was refreshed but it never actually refreshed it on target.

Seems like a lovely trinket proc to code in

Yeah, it does happen, but that's just down to bad timing.. like this for example;

At the point Perfect Aim procs, you've got Metamorphosis on CD for another 4 seconds, the same duration as the Perfect Aim buff, so it refreshes Corruption instead. There's no way to get this perfect because the trinket is so random. It's not like it has an internal cooldown that I could be tracking. I've spent stupid amounts of hours now testing and tuning this trinket, I don't think there's much more that I can do to make it handle any better.

 

With UVLS, demonology playstyle is centered to around that trinket procs, atm routine swithes to meta way too often and leaves form too fast and that leads to missing procs due meta on cd.

Routine handles trinket procs fine, if meta aint on cd.

theres quite nice dps guides for demonology made by pros on youtube, which explains rotation with this trinket and how meta should be handled.

Not always. The problem with UVLS is that it's proc is completely random... There's no ICD to crunch out numbers with. I have done tests where it's procced on the first corruption cast, and then others where I haven't seen it in proc for 2-3 whole doom durations. It's a good trinket when it procs, but that's WHEN it procs.

 

i know its not always but i swear 70% of the time if im about to start a boss fight after a few minutes of downtime it always procs within the first 15 seconds. and if it doesnt then fuck it i still have enough fury to go back into meta and cast it when it does.
