Hey, I was suspended for 72hr, its fine though. But I wonder if it is player reports, as it was in a public big guild, and I have two other gatherers which havent been banned, ran at the exact same time, but in my own guild?

1st - remove personal details, like character name, then discuss further ;)
Then - its manual ban, so could be player reports, definitely!

72 hr ban is what Blizz says it is. It is the last step before you loose your account for good. Is it player report. Is it your private profile being used way too often and for too long and got detected. Is it GB being easily spotted already. You will have to experiment a lot to find out. And it will cost you a lot of time, effor and money. Cause you have to use new accounts every time. New uncompromised IP. New private profiles, etc.

Aside from bla bla bla.. SOR accounts and botting do not fit very well together, especially in US. I had a few SOR in US being closed hours after i got them. I was leveling from 80 and there come Blizz asking for ID...BAM!
If you get banned on some account in US, dont bother buying SOR if you dont change your IP. In EU you might get away with it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Why you got banned is a tough one. Just the fact that you farmed ore for 10 hrs a day every day looks suspicious. What pointed Blizz to check your activity is the real question IMO. They might be just checking what amount of ore/herbs/etc a given account sold the past 14 days.

I clearly understand no one knows for sure what and why I have been banned for. Regarding the SORs its going pretty good with mine, I have some which are nearly a year old :)
10 hr per day is alot, indeed, yesterday was a mistake, I forgot to log out my bots before I went drinking :p

I have nothing against loosing the account as I know it is a part of the game. I run a crap character atm so I get VERY low NPH.

But generally I have had very good experiences with SOR accounts in EU, I highly recommend it :)
