Any and all Quest behavior issues can be fixed with fresh installs. Make sure you install the current version of HB: not an old one , then auto update. V650 as of this post.

As for the rest, as always, please submit a log file with all reports.

 

Already done a fresh install

 

Then wherever you're installing quest behaviors from is outdated and should not be used.

 

Did a clean HB install, added custom combat routine, added Brodie plugin, tried to start dailies, came up with this error:

[11:05:40.321 N] Error trying to save the settings file: The process cannot access the file 'D:\Documents\blop\Bots\HB\Settings\Stormrage\blop\CharacterSettings.xml' because it is being used by another process.

Log file shows no true error. What error is being displayed in popup?

 

urrrr..... both the log file and my post show the true error:

[11:05:40.321 N] Error trying to save the settings file: The process cannot access the file 'D:\Documents\blop\Bots\HB\Settings\Stormrage\blop \CharacterSettings.xml' because it is being used by another process.

This error is generated by the plugin. I get the Windows error window popping up and it closes HB.

 

This is an end, not a means.
Ability to save a file will not halt the plugin. When you open the plugin, and you get a pop up error, what does the error read?

 

The only popup error is "Honorbuddy has @#&*(ed up, wanna send some info to Bossman?"

Actually it says "Unable to load profile, file not found". Did you change the folder structure of Default Profiles? Did you fresh install Hb, but not the plugin?

 

I *thought* I did both but after a fresh install of the plugin, it's all fine and dandy now. Guess I didn't do a decent fresh install of the plugin.

 

maybe can u say where i can donwload that Rep profile? i try on SVN but they give now one txt file

1) Direhorn vs Devilsaur
-need to implement avoidance for Master Caller's Devilsaur's Stomp. As it stand now, if argo more than 1, you are dead.

2) The Shuddering Moor
-Mighty Devilsaur avoidance code needs to be improve or avoid/back paddle towards Bleak Hollow, the Shado-Pan Quartermaster cave.

3) Maximym Capacitor
-Metal Lord Mono-Han avoidance
-Energized Metal, type Unit, ID 69637, instead of running away when he is casting, wait until it drops then run away. Treat it the same as his Whirling Attack.

4) Forged ahead
-Itoka avoidance
-Avoid Column of Thunder and Ring of Thunder
-During Thunder King's Protection, there are 4 spot of entry to the Acitvated Forge (69662), ignore the Ball Lighting, they do almost no damage

5) Encroaching Force
-Nurkala avoidance
-just keep backing up towards the slope you came in, and once npc is dead, run away.

6) Raiding the Vault
-the piller XYZ is constant
-scan for object id 70311 or 3353, not sure which is the lighting trap
-go to a safe piller when is close to the platform
-the method is to go towards the MOST RECENT piller that is safe, and when you reach the last roll, jump to platform.

my druid is often not able to pick up quests...
sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

freshly installed honorbuddy without success.


what am i doing wrong?
on my deathknight, everything works fine!

-stuck on first statue after smashing it
-need to smash first one, delay, smash second one, delay, smash third one... etc

2) The Matriarch's Maw
-you said you need to test before including the pickup of this quest item. what do you need?

3) Riding the Storm
-target either 62311, 62584, 62585, use quest item, dps until serpent transform, target next, use item, continue until quest complete

 

1) Trying to research aoe avoidance on mob casting, by moving directly away. It might be messy, but I'll se what comes of it.

2) As above, aoe avoidance is not the best. Especially when said aoe has not "you're in it" aoe, only a stacking timed debuff. Plus once there are multiples on the ground, the bot has trouble differentiating between one to the next, and ends up moving from one INTO the next. "Back pedaling" is not something I want to code in. Neither kiting. It would cause several classes to stop combat (due to movement/out of range) unless I basically coded a CR into the plugin.

5) See above why I'm not coding kiting into profiles/plugins. Once the CR picks up and attacks one, its going to attack all agro. I can drop this quest from the rotation if its not one that's easily done, otherwise, I can ATTEMPT a QB.

6) Not doing this quest. Proximity checks are easy, if not 100% accurate at times. Its the jumping from platform to platform I'm not willing to attempt.
