i only have 8 points into arsenal so far, the others are in bodyguard and pyrotech thats why i was wondering if maybe i should respec and put all points into arsenal until im higher lvl so it will have more options to kill faster ?
Only medpacs and the defensive skills (the shield and the one for when you're below 30% health). Remember, this is a raiding routine, and is designed to maximize dps in a raiding environment. As such, the healing skills are a waste because you'll have a healer (or 2) around to top you off and you shouldn't be taking much damage anyway. I originally had it programmed to take advantaged of the Tracer Lock buff that makes Advanced Medical Probe instant cast, but people did not like that (it lowered dps and wasted 5 stacks of Tracer Lock) so I took it out.
ahh ok I did not realize it was for raiding sorry. ill just deal with the skilsl it uses and try to keep it alive by hand when i can. thanks
No problem, and sorry I couldn't be more help. I'd suggest Walter's routine for leveling. It's designed for characters of every level, and has different logic (blows energy and cooldowns on mobs, since you can destroy a group of standard/weak enemies without worrying about energy management).
I was trying to figure out how to get walters to work but for some reason when i put it in my routine it don't work full of errors
You have to replace the DefaultCombat folder with his. Try posting for help in his thread, he's very quick to respond and helpful.
thank you so much. i moved pure and default out and walter's in combat's like a champ now. greatly appreciate your help and look forward to your profile at my higher lvls
I use Pure when hand leveling, You just need to edit the file as you level up and gain more skills / talents once you get to level 50 (maybe before) you should be able to delete the changes you made and full update from SVN to get back the optimal rotation. I have never played Merc but if you give me a link to your talent build and general rotation you expect at your level i should be able to put something together for you.
thanks, I definitely will. for some reason my game has gone to shit though ever since i switched to a new toon. laggy as fuck even though swtor is set to cpu real time
No idea, Sorry never had lag problems best i can do is point you to Walter's help guide, http://www.thebuddyforum.com/buddy-...952-buddywing-dummies-tutorial-new-users.html
yea, im doing everything it says there, just randomly happens sometimes, goes super choppy & seems to do a lot of walking by 2 steps then stop lol working on my 19 juggernaught right now; when is witch back to my BH tonight or tomorrow il llet you know the skilsl but the walter's profile seems to be working except it doesn't use Unload
Setting affinities is the best way to reduce choppiness. If you've done that then it could be a connection or hardware issue.
Do it. It makes a massive difference. Just set the big swtor.exe to a different core than Buddywing.exe. The smaller swtor.exe can go whereever, as long as those two are on different cores.
I'm actually not sure how to set it on a different core, I have been setting the bigger swtor to real time priority, but I don't know how to set to a specific core
You know that annoying error "Failed to ReadProcessMemory...blah blah" BW gets because SWTOR is so messed up and the bot stops working and the only fix is to restart the game? I know my class and can play it but I love, and prefer, to use Pure when playing. However, I get that error 9.9999 out of 10 times entering a flashpoint or operation. What do you guys do when that happens? Do I kill the game every time after I enter the zone (I always use LFG) and log back in with a fresh restart and then restart BW? Will the game auto kick me because I used LFG? Just curious how you guys work around it and how often this happens to you when trying to run a raid or regular flashpoint? Thanks! EDIT: Forgot to mention I can run around all day long doing dailies and farting around and it runs like a champ....it's when I enter a raid or group flashpoint that the trouble begins.
