I have two accounts currently, and I am planning on creating a third. I play a mage/rogue/hunter on my main account by hand, and I have a priest/warrior/mage on a second account that is set up to follow me using party bot. I mainly do casual Pvp, and I like the fact that I can set up a priest to follow me with support heals; however, running with the warrior or any DPS is always fun in random BG's for that matter.

My question is, when I add a third account, what class would add the most survivability to my trio? Right now, I'm thinking Resto druid seems like the call, since it has tons of instant HoTs and mobility. I would love to run a hunter/mage/Rdruid trio where I play the mage by hand.

Has anyone had any experience with setting up a support bot in Battlegrounds or world Pvp for that matter?

I love using a pally in that type of situation. 1 they have both great survivability and heals. 2. Tuanha has a grate Routine for it.

I heard pallys weren't in a great spot right now for Holy PVP?

keep in mind i have no idea how to actually use one, but i bring a pally with me for PVP, even when people are attacking us he can keep us all alive and if they start attacking him, he heals through it while i kill them, never used a driud though, they may be better. If you were to use Tuanha though i highly recommend the paid version it's made for bg/areana, the routine is just as important as the class.

EDIT: if you need a class to switch to dps sometimes i can see how a druid would work nicely, hazzdruid looks like a nice routine, have you tried it?

I havn't tried Hazzdruid's yet. Originally I figured Boomkin would make a fun pocket turret if resto got boring, but I decided before I read that post and went with Pally. The plate and buffs do sound kinda nice. On top of that, I've only had great results with Tuanha's routines, I love em. I havn't checked out the paid version yet, but I will.

The pally can always go ret as well and still provide some sort of off heals.

If anyone else has experience with Resto Druids / MW Monks / Resto Shamans, I'd love to hear about it.

I'm actually glad to hear you used this set up. I love to casual PvP, and have always wanted to do this, but my attempts in WTLK (..lol) weren't that good. Is your set up pretty simple just using party bot to follow you around? Any irritating issues you usually have to deal with?

And resto druids are great PvP bg healing bots. I made a behavior with another bot so I can't promise it's the same, but if it's well made the resto druid can keep everyone alive, and usually win team fights. Biggest thing is as I said it was best at keep everyone alive so it's better for big team fights than solo ganking. Pally/priest does sound like a great keep YOU alive combo. And I'm unsure how well HazzDruid can handle kiting. Where as a paladin I feel will not need as much kiting.

I havn't gotten the chance to run anything in any Arenas or Rated Battlegrounds yet, but I have had pretty good success with both party bot and FPSware's Lazyboxer. If I'm not mistaken there is or used to be a plugin that allowed to focus follow one person. I havn't had any issues with Party Bot, since the navigation works so well with the leader plugin. Only thing I noticed, was that I would sometimes get unlucky, and my follower would die and res at a different graveyard really far away, making him spend a decent amount of time walking to you. Other than the occasional alone time, it went pretty well. I've heard great things about Resto Druids, but Holy Pallys just seem much more manageable and efficient with less squishiness and need for kiting.
