[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Hmm. I can't replicate it, I did about 20-30 arenas last night (and got Hot Streak... yyeeeaahhh!) and never had an issue with it not being used. Can you post a log file please so I can take a look?

 

So tested again and its now working, ive no idea why, i changed nothing, maybe just one of those gremlins...Btw i edited my previouse post with a suggestion/Request, what do you think?

 

There's a limit to how many hotkeys I want to add to be honest (not to mention the amount of hours it takes to add them - you'd be surprised at the work which has to go into them!). Some things are better handled by just using the macros in game - something like shadowfury which is cast at location is obviously better done through the routine.

 

I suspected it might involve allot of time haha, Ill continue too use my ingame macros ofc, i just wasnt sure if the routine would finnish doing its own thing before taking notie of my macro request, Would a simple "/Stop Casting" in the macro be cool with the routine?

 

Yeah it would. The routine won't interrupt your current cast, so if you did;

/stopcasting
/target arena1
/cast Fear

...then it should work fine. Test it on a target dummy.

Think I'll change Drain Life to allow it to be used as a filler rather than defensive - i.e. Malefic Grasp if you're HP is above the setting value, and Drain Life as the filler if your HP is below the % value. Think it'll help survivability a lot.

Yeah, it's how I'd do it, if I could play arenas by hand - 1800 rating now though, not bad for a PvE scrub.

*Edit* Changed it in my source. I'll get it on the SVN once I get home.

*Edit 2* Added a setting to allow Soulburn to be used with it too.

- Disarm when target's target is friendly and low HP.
- Fixed exception during load on chinese clients.
- Drain Life has been re-worked. Is now used as a filler when HP below % value, rather than as soon as your HP is below the % value (which prevented the rest of the routine to run).
- Added Soulburn + Drain Life settings.
- Fixed an issue with destro cancel casting for shadowburn.


Haven't had a chance to test this one, so shout if there's issues. Missus kicking off for spending too much time working on this lol

 

The default values are what is recommended...off the top of my head, 650 - 900

 

Played my frist LFR with this CR, the DPS and the Damage was great, liked it

But it could be better, often he was recasting / refrshing the dots too late

By too late, what do you mean? It doesn't refresh DoTs with lesser powered ones until the last couple of seconds. If you've got a stat increased buff, then it'll refresh early. Can always turn the refresh settings up slightly if you wish via the GUI (i.e. Agony from 11000 to 14000, Corruption from 8000 to 10000, UA from 6000 to 9000)..

He is recasting Unstable Affliction, when it is not on the Boss, the DoTs are running out and will be refreshed too late

But shouldn`t he refresh the DoTs before the last tick?

 

Sorry I'm a bit confused here. So are the DoTs actually dropping off the boss? For how long? Can you check the debuff uptimes that Skada is reporting? I'll have to test it on a dummy later on and check the timings on refresh.

 

Millz, will you realease new cr instantly when new patch comes out?
