Perma banned(Not from using HB, I don't think?)? Help :(

So, the day before Valentine's day I received this message.

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.


I used honor buddy maybe, 2-3 hours every few days, the max I ever used HB in a week was 10 hours a week, grinding for pvp gear. How I got banned though(Atleast what I believe to what caused my ban) was that I was running a challenge mode, temple of the jade serpent, I was on my mage and we just defeated the first boss(water one, annoying shithead) and as I was leaving the room, I had the speed boost, and I used "Blink". Well... it teleported me through the wall and I kinda accidentally glitched the game. I was running around outside and I didnt recognize the environment I was in, never seen it before. Well there was a lock in the group and so they summoned me back in. Well the next day I was in a pug msv and about a minute after I entered I got dc'd. got the email saying my account was banned. I appealed it, saying that it was a mistake and that I didn't hack the game, it was honestly on accident. and 2 or 3 appeals later my account still remained permanently banned. I LOVE this game! I need help getting my account back! so please, if anyone has any advice on helping me restoring my account I will literally give you 100$ cash, like I'll mail it to your house. PLEASE HELP ME! :,(

 

First of all: Remove your appeal reason from in here. edit it out. We can only assume that blizzard reads thise forums.
secondly you should appeal. Do not mention the bot or any tools you've used and say that you are totally clueless about what "cheat program" they are talking about or what cheat they are implying you've been using.

 

I haven't found that argument to them to be particularly effective. This was their form response:

We apologize that we won't be able to divulge the information which we used to come to this conclusion because it would also divulge internal tools which we are not permitted to discuss with the public. Please know though that this decision was not made lightly and we went over the evidence repeatedly to be sure that this decision was made correctly.​
