okay, sorry for stupid question, but how do I load the demonic? tried the zip first, i thought it's just a plugin, but its not detected. now i have a svn-synced folder but i just don't know what to do with it... i couldnt find any information about how to use it.

dnno if that's required for this particular CC, but that has been the problem for some people in the past.

 

Nothing has changed with my settings. I was running it for scenarios before my raid, and then updated as I do before each raid. Then it just started playing up. I've had to go destro and do okay dps (I hate casting ROF lol)
I will try re-installing in a different location. Everything was 100% fresh on the fresh install. Still doing it on Revision 65 (updated 5mins ago)

 

I hate casting RoF too, that's pretty much why I used HB for destro lol. If only there was a routine that would just manage my RoF lol

Im wearing full malevolent gear, plus 3-4 Tyrannical's.

 

Malve gear isnt that great try to get full Tyrannical

 

Leveling up my lock atm, so I decided to try some low level Bg's(level 66). A few things I noticed that were causing me some inconvenience.

- Bot creating healthstones and summoning pets only when someone is targeted. Works fine if I target myself after each death, but alot of times I forget and when I go to select an enemy to attack it starts to do it.

- Bot doesn't start to do damage until either I manually cast a spell or an enemy attacks me. If you could implement an attack out of combat option(like tuanha has on his Cr's) that can be checked and unchecked in the GUI that would be extremely useful.

- While questing alot of the time the bot stutter steps to get to it's target. Not sure if this is an issue with the Cr or Honorbuddy itself.

Also is the combat routine optimized for low level Pvp atm aswell(Yes im using the premium edition)?

 

I've looked through the log, and there's nothing in there which screams that there's a problem. I'd suggest dropping your fury values down a touch from 900/650 to 600/350 and try again. To be perfectly honest, Demonology doesn't get good until you have good gear and the UVLS trinket from Lei Shen. You should try Destruction spec.

You need as a minimum, .NET 4.0 I believe with Demonic due to the object caching system I use which was introduced in the .NET 4.0 framework. It's good to have the latest version installed though.

How did you get on re-installing stuff? Can try using team viewer and connecting to your PC to see whats going on if you like ?

1) Yeah, this is due to Honorbuddy's way it calls PreCombatBuffBehehavior() - it's very unreliable, but the best way is to select/change target, and it seems to trigger the call. Nothing I can really do about it though.

2) Use Tyrael and enable Healing Mode (healing mode basically ignores the combat checks).

3) I haven't seen this behavior on my toon I've been testing questing with, and it's level 36 now. Is it happening all of the time?

4) It should work good in PvP at that level, but it probably won't be completely optimal until you get all of your talents and hit 90.

 

Allright, thanks for the honesty. How does it compete at in PvP then? With your routine.

Ive seen alot of pvp videos with Locks running Demonology, and seems they got no problemo getting high rating in 2v2.

 

It's missing the felguard/wrathguard's Axe Toss (which I coded yesterday but seems it didn't work). It also doesn't have demonic leap in - because that should be done manually - could cost you the game. Other than that it should be pretty good with the correct settings. I'm running affliction in 2v2 at the minute though.

 

Im just finding Afflication insanely boring, gameplay wise. dot dot dot, haunt, malefic grasp.. dot dot dot.. fear.

What settings are you refering too ? Id be very interested in hearing some settings for 2vs2 - running mostly with another dps.

 

Re-Install still is a no go. I'll PST you about teamviewer, I've never used it before. Not sure what the GO is, so I guess the best solution is you look directly from my side of the shop lol

 

Hmm so as an example of how i've got it setup..

curses selection -> PvP
Banish -> Bg+Arena(temporary only)
sacrificial pact -> 90% hp
use Dark Regen + Healthstone @ 50% hp
unending resolve @ 80% hp
Dark Soul on boss or player (to use instantly -> burst).

Just what I can think off the top of my head. I like to use CD's early on in case the opposition are a burst combo. Gives more chance to get them back off CD sooner too.

Nah, I want test this changes for affliction, but I can't for next 2 weeks
Also I've done with 24k conquest points via 2vs2 with Priest+affliction. Working very well, 3 days for capping

 

Affliction is working pretty good in 2v2 for us at the minute. Our combo (2x warlocks) is terrible as we struggle with DR's, but we're still hovering around 1800. That's damn quick for the 24k points! I'm 2.5k points from the weekly cap (and the achievements). Will get that tonight. Shame my server is so dead, we can't find anyone to do 3s, nevermind 5s...
