Idk what you did over the last few updates but since Tuesday destro has been doing HORRIBLE dps on the raiding dummies. Im only pulling tops of 92k dps and it used to be 124k and I have even picked up a few more pieces of gear. Heres a log. Please help!

You've got burst mode enabled for most of the duration of the fight. Burst mode should be enabled then disabled again when no longer required.

Burst mode is a quick nuke to burn down adds etc - it'll kill your overall dps if left on.

 

Not entirely sure what you changed in the last 2 updates Millz, but the bot is no longer stutter stepping for me and seems to run alot smoother now. I think it may of had something to do with that trinket bug you fixed.

Quick update on Portal for those interested - I've spent about 18 of the last 24 hours working on it (i'll sleep well tonight!), and it's now in a pretty good state. General abilities, talents etc are all working. Frost is running good - and I've just finished implementing Fire - but it still has issues yet. Next will be arcane, then i'll go back and add lower level support into them. 4 pieces of new PvP gear today from constant testing in BGs though haha.

Maybe I will get it released before 5.4 at this rate...

Yo Millz.

When i run in arena as Destro, my Succubus will seduce someone ofc. But if its my current target, the bot goes all frenzy and wont attack it. Can something be done so it actually can attack the seduced target?

 

It should pause, or attack one of the other targets (without you changing target). Assume it's not doing that? Can you post a log file (and if possible highlight in the log where it's doing it please)?

Well, id still like to decide which target to attack, and dont want the rotation to pause because of seduce. Lets say my partner disc priest has cc the other opponent, and my succubus seduced the other. Thats why i could use some sort of "override" thingie.


ps. i got all the targetting, movement, auto facing etc turned off.

 

Yeah I get you. Hmm given that it'll break upon any damage (and thus trigger the rotation again), it's just as easy to cast something to interupt the CC.

I wouldn't want to add a setting to ignore the 'do not damage' list - as its the same list which has things like spell reflection in. I think that's better left to decide on yourself as it's so circumstantial.

Now that you're working on mage routine aswell, will you prio one of the routines over the other, when 5.4 hits ?

Talked with some people on PTR realm, really praising the Affliction changes. So i hope Demonic will be up and running 5.4 rather fast. xD

 

I'm only making 2 - doubt i'll make any more than that. Mage changes in 5.4 are quick to resolve from a code perspective, warlocks are fairly complex. I'll have both ready as soon as honorbuddy is updated though. I use the routines too - so i want them updated as fast as you guys do.

^^ idk if you canseethat millz but yea cant see my drop boxes its too big of deal was looking at your guides to what it was. But on yours didn't show it like this so don't know which is what for the Burst key. That im selecting

 

slow down a little, no spare money till november and if you release it, I'll HAVE to buy it :-/

 

DPS testing just done. Self buffed, with no Terrorguard.
Demo - 105k dps @ 175mill Damage. Burst topped @ 180k
Destro - 122k dps @ 176mill Damage. Burst toppped @ 203k
Will test affliction now. * Only ran my affliction for 5 minutes. Needless to say, with UVLS and Breath of Hydra it's not very good lol 75k dps @ 35mill Damage. Burst topped @ 125k
So I think I will go back to Destro for a bit, at least until everything gets fkd up in 5.4 lol

 

I am having a similar issue. A couple weeks ago, I was doing an average of 120k on the dummies with a 504 ilvl. Since then I've added some new gear and now am at 507 with Lei Shen's (Raid Finder version) trinket. I have checked the Burst Mode and set a key so I can enable and disable, yet I can't even hit 100k sustained anymore. If I leave burst mode off it will start out strong around 120k like it used to, then drop off over a sustained run of about 10 mins to around 98k. Watching my toon, it does not appear to be pausing or anything like that it just doesn't put out the DPS that it was before. Any ideas as to why? P.S. I use this strictly for PvE. I know there is a lot of PvP functionality in the routine, and that's great, but I'm just looking for the strongest edge I can get in PvE. Thanks in advance for any advice.
