Yea.. thats version 1.0, a tad dated. I'm just wondering if it continues to work because of its simplicity or if the HB programmers purposely upgraded the 1.0 version for this release.

I'll look into this later today. 1:40 in the morning hear and growing weary of HonorBuddy releases being posted that force an upgrade (due to auth servers) and include things that break existing CC's.

 

Fan update keeps crashing HB

 

Ugh cant figure it out.. Hey bobby. some things I found while debugging the shamwow. First, I fixed all the gameunit reference to guid. This caused it to compile at least. Unforutunately combat is screwing up. It was giving me an error in combat() which called combatlogic() which callc combatchecks() which kept exploding. I took out the catch (Exception e) in Combat().. then found out that combatchecks() references _me.currenttarget (which kept returning null).. so I put at the top if (currenttarget == null, return false). Well this worked until _me.currenttarget.creator also returned null. So I tried putting try{catch} around the entire thing and returning false upon exception... well this means all it does is give no exceptions but just stand there facing the target and doing nothing because combatchecks() keeps returning false (after I put those try{}catch{} in).

 

wont even load the profile. dont know what 2 do. HELP !!!!!!!

What should have happened (be specific): Trying 2 load profile and I click on the shaman.cs file 2 load the profile and the error message Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1. I even deleted all of honorbuddy and gatherbuddy folder and reinstalled everything from scratch. Same message everytime.

What did happen (be specific): The error message shows up with the box Ignore this error and attempt to continue. Please tell Bossland GmbH about this problem. Send Error Report Don't Send

Thanks VERY much for the clear and detailed post! There are two issues affecting you at the moment.

1. Shaman.cs is not a profile, so trying to specify it with Load Profile will produce errors. It is a Combat Class that provides the behavior for your Shaman (determines which spells to how to fight, heal, etc.) Combat Classes after being installed to your HB\CustomClasses folder are automatically loaded. You will want to download a Profile (an .XML file that describes what to kill, where to kill it, what quests to do, etc.) from the HonorBuddy Profiles section of the forums.

2. The current version of HonorBuddy 1.9.6.3 was release with changes to the API that broke existing Combat Classes which used certain functions. I will be posting a new release later today, but at the moment you can only use ShamWOW with HonorBuddy 1.9.6.2 or earlier. Unfortunately, those versions don't work with the new Authentication Server. Hopefully future releases of HonorBuddy will be better coordinated in terms of required upgrades not breaking existing functionality. For now though, you'll need to wait for the next release of ShamWOW or try the version of ShamWOW bundled with HonorBuddy (no separate download required.)

Is there not a working Shaman cc right now? I cant attack mobs with this for some reason. It will just stand there.

 

Mine works fine. Running as we're speaking.

To the developer: there seems to be a problem with Instancebuddy. I just told him, but he said it was a cc problem.

When in instances and the toon receive heals, it targets the healer and runs towards him saying "opposing PLAYER is attacking".

It only loose 2-3 secs of fighting, but it looks a bit weird. Any idea what might be wrong?

 

My shaman isnt attacking eather i use instancebuddy, may be an crash between Shamwow and Instancebuddy

 

basicaly we have to wait eksaro till hb is not uber buggy and shamwow supports instance buddy sure soemone is working on it for us

 

EDIT: Misread something.

 

When I click CC configuration it opens in Dreamweaver.

I tried associating .config with notepad/wordpad/honorbuddy. What should I associate it with to solve this?
