[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

Good stuff, Millz. Not that I like mages any better, but this routine makes my mage a little more enjoyable to level, lol.

Okay, the changes I posted earlier are now on the SVN.

- [Frost] AoE rotation will now only trigger at level 18.
- [Frost] AoE will now use Arcane Explosion until level 52 (upon receiving Blizzard).
- [Frost] Frostbolt's range check now takes into account the size of a targets hit box.
- [Arcane] Added setting value for what number of Arcane Charge's to cast Arcane Barrage.
- Changed Slow Fall again to use a better calculation.
- Added CanCast check to Ice Barrier when condition is 'Always'.
- Ice Block option changed to radio buttons, to allow only selecting one of the 2 options, rather than both.
- Alter Time defensive should now be reporting success/failure to the log more acurately.
- Counterspell incoming Crowd Control should be faster to scan for the unit.
- Added setting to Spellsteal to only steal cooldowns or HoTs.

 

Ok Playing as Arcane Spec while using Living Bomb, the Routine does not Apply Living Bomb correctly, itll let it expire and continue to cast arcane blast and wait until second or third to re apply Living Bomb, I waited to see if it was because it was in the middle of a cast but it was not, it does not apply Living Bomb Correctly as Arcane spec ;(

 

Living Bomb should not be refeshed ,let it explodin will make more damage,if u need a bomb to be refeshed use nether tempest

 

Hey your Free CC starts working at lvl 12 when you get FrostBolt. But it definitely doesn't use
FrostFire bolt ever when lvl 1-11 which is needed.

 

So this routine doesnt automatically cc the target u aint attacking?

 

so what spec is everyone using for raiding?

 

It'll apply LB at < 1.1s - as you do need the bomb to explode (as hayno said), but it'll still explode if you refresh it just before it expires. As we're doing it so close to the end of the cast, it does sometimes drop off briefly - but as long as it's not down for more than 2 seconds then it's fine. Up-time was something like 90-93% when I tested it.

Hey - The free one doesn't support from level 1, but should work at level 10 once you pick a spec. That's a bug that it's not working until level 12. I'll resolve it soon.

CC in what regard? Polymorph? That's not in the free version.

 

Millz, could you be so kind to put the version next to the update logs?
I see a lot of these changes, but they never mention if it's for the Premium or Free version. Mostly I guess the Premium, but I can imagine some of these changes also affect the Free version.

Sorry, I normally do. My bad. It's for the premium version. I'll be updating the free ones (for demonic and portal) once 5.4 lands.. I.e. make the changes to Premium versions, and then copy/paste the required changes into the free ones.

Yeah, I'm excited for the changes in 5.4 - mainly just so my realm won't be dead, and I'll be able to find arena partners. It's looking likely that I'll be away when 5.4 is actually released - but should be back a couple of days after - HB will likely still be down anyway while it's being updated.

Yup, HB will probably be down for a couple of days. A new patch is sort of exciting, but for botters it's no fun the first days... nothing works and you have to play by hand *shudder* :/

 

Or you take a few days off... like me

I've actually started making the changes required. For a lot of the warlock changes I just need to comment a few lines and it's good again - but I think i'll add a setting to do that in case i'm away when HB is updated.

 

A few days off of WoW you mean? I'm not taking a few days off work. That's what I'm doing two weeks from now

 

Off work for me. I'm off all next week, but shall be spending time with the missus rather than on WoW. She's not overly pleased with the amount of time I've spent working on my routines !

 

I can imagine... the trick is to take some time off work, while the misses is working! That way you can really dedicate yourself to coding. And vacuuming, wiping the windows, laundry...

Which clearly you can't when your using the free version which isn't stated clearly.
