      New version (1.9.6.3) doesn't compile the version 3.1 of this CC, log is attached.


      /edit, after testing it again with the included dll it still doesn't compile, but there are not that many errors -> View attachment 27.09.2010_00_11 Log.txt

      yes, but theres no code to do that kind of detection, theres no way to do that kind of detection. i have ideas. but at this point it might be too little to late

      Still pulls mobs at 20-10yds or so, even if you set the pull distance at 35 or 40. It priorizes harvesting over mob cleaning (usually runs to a node or herb, ignoring mobs around it and bodypulling all of them). Allow mages using this CC to wear plate armor, or we'll die...

      i really don't get it..sometimes pulling works..the next time it doesn not.

      Set up everything correclty...only 1 pull spell and that stuff and it does nothing...just running behind the target with the action "pulling"..until it has aggro then it kills the mob. Then i check everything (every pull spell) and on low level every spell and it runs without any problems..pulling and everything works perfect (although it should not).....

      sometimes when it has 3 mobs it acts really stupid. There is mob1 mob2 and mob3. For example he sheeps mob2 and starts attacking mob1...if he does not kill mob1 until mob2 comes out of the sheep he then sheeps mob1..although it has 10% life....-_-

      or what really sux it uses wand even if it is disabled.

      3.1 version is pulling those mobs but not casting it but version 3.0 works fine

      I edited the range in the files for frost. It should now pull at 36 yards. Do not use these files if you do not have the frost spell range talents or it will try to cast at 36 range while the max range of your frostbolt is 30.
      I don't know what to think, I'll just level my mage by hand from now on because this CC lets me die on average about 30 times every night and I cannot for the life of me figure out why it stops using ice barrier for a while. The first couple of hours it works flawlessly and has 0 deaths. After that it just stops using ice barrier for no appearant reason. I get 2 mobs on me, I'm 50% health, ice barrier has been off cooldown for at least a minute and it doesn't use it at all. Never seen it use iceblock either (set it at 40%).
      I hope this will be improved in cataclysm because it is grindable but very painful, lvl 60-68 went with 40k xp/hour and going at 70k/hour in northrend with a profile people reported to have 200k exp/hour with. Sigh too bad the standard and all-in-one-CC are even worse. I guess mage isnt really the class to bot with.

      i am actuily going to write a new CC for cata, since this one does have daemons in it, and this time it will be done with completely new code, nothing reused.

      cant seem to get it to load any suggestions

      looking at the log its also picking my spec as arcane when reality is its full frost

      having used this cc before and not having any issues im thinking its a HB problem but if you could have a look for me that would be great .

      As you can see the CC loaded, and detected your spec, so the CC works, but then the Unknown DLL Loaded, hit, thats currently the issue, but unfortunately has yet to find a fix for, so your better off, waiting for a release. once a new release is out that fixes that issue, everything should be fine.

      Same for me when using arcane. Before i got to sleep i keep watching him playing and killing one mob after another..just without any problems...then after a while...he starts pulling with wand (it is not checked, why?????????) that's so fu***** shit...and the next morning like 8 hours later it looks like someone is facerolling over the keyboard....spins stupid arround..casts stupid....mob has 5% life and instead of an instant spell it uses with arcane missiles. It's always the same...must be the cc as i am leveling other chars that don't have any of this problems.

      Is it possible that there is no handling for arcane power if you're arcane specced?

      Dasoul, respec frost and use the HB standard CC. When I used the newest version I was amazed by how well it performs, in contrast it almost looked like someone was really playing it :D

      Sorry for all the bad feedback CG, it's not personal but that's just what you get when you're the only one with a custom mage CC and you stop keeping it up to date.

      the CC is fine, code wise there's nothing wrong, most people are having problems after 5+ hours, its impossible for me to track down whats causing that. as far as updates, i keep making updates and it compiles, i could close the thread, and stop dealing with people talking shit, but i haven't, there is NOTHING more i can do to make this code base work. all i can do is try and make something better for cataclysm. so im going to lock the thread now, if it works for you great if it doesn't oh well, there's nothing i can do. suck it up for a couple of months. and be glad all my CC's are still up for grabs, im seriously thinking of pulling them all down.

      My Level 25 mage dont attack before he him self is attacked, iv have frostbolt set to be my pull spell.

      Well I've always been happy with this CC.

      I was just wondering though:
      Why is this? And when replying, please bare in mind that indeed you are the -only- mage cc dev, and that there will always be people that can't read. :D

      just ungratefull people, ive stated again and again, if it works, then it works, but i wont be making any changes besides compatibility issues. im already working on a full replacement, based on cataclysm specs. its been taking most of my time. maybe later tonight ill stick up a preview of what ive been learning on. to help sell the fact that i am working on shit.
