If BW is going to get more users it REALY need to be more user frendly. Here are some of the things I think will make BW a much less PAIN in the XXX to use: 1. Grind Profile Builder Addon (Grind Profile Builder) + And make is SO simple as it can be fx: A button that sayes "Press me while targeting vendor" (I am trying to make it so simple no one can misunderstand it but you all know where I am going with this) 2. Class Rotation Builder (A easy way to make my class rotations and what skills I am using) 3. More stable (Its crashing like so often when I press the "stop" button... and ofc it closes SWTOR and everything...) This is the things that are bugging the crap out of me, I played for this software and I dont realy feel its botting for me but botting with me.. I might as well level my toon by hand than this atm :S
1.- The plugin I didn't found how to make it work at its best, I prefer making my own grinding profiles just by dumping target locations. Don't get mad if doesn't work the very first time, it is just a trial and error thing. 2.- This one, just go to buddywing classes forum, download the routine you want, I use "(un)pureswtor" (when compiler doesn't fail) and "fight and joe 2.0". 3.- For the stable point, what i do is ctrl+shift+esc and set buddywing and swtor in different processing cores (right click + set affinity).
Everyboddy sayes "its just a matter of try by error" but I been trying for weeks now and I simply cant get any profiles i make to worke... even simple ones.. i just wish they would make it simple and quick so us noobs can make our own content...
I made a count: Today I went from 28-30 on my Sniper, 12 deaths, 7 crashes, tryed 4 diffrent profiles / setups.... its such a pain... just a pain..
Are you trying to level with quest profiles? They are notoriously problematic for a number of reasons, the least of which is how the game itself is programmed. Some actions simply can't be effectively automated, and because of the way the game stores data, BW has to be reloaded whenever you change areas. In spite of these limitations, some of our community members have worked very hard to create profiles which do work with a certain amount of necessary babysitting. Unfortunately, 100% automation for quest profiles is simply not in the cards for this game. After getting your ship, I would recommend a combination of questing and grind profiles (I created my own, which is the safest way to go). A decent grind profile will run for hours without issue, although some planets (I'm looking you YOU, Nar Shaddaa!) are more difficult to set up than others. Thankfully, there are also some great grinding profiles already available here in the forums which you can use right out of the box, or as a base from which to create your own. Per the crashing, make sure you have an updated combat routine. I would recommend Walter's for all leveling, and then either Walter's or (Un)Pure once you reach max. Good luck, -D
Kicks Quest profiles, Mizzels grind profiles & Walterswaltz random grind.... Its as if nothing will run propper.. But thanks for the help, I think I just have to accept I will never get BW to run with my lacking skills
