64bit, the only reason is RAM. There is basically zero applications that runs faster on 64bit for casual users like most of us are anyway.

32 bit because I only have 4gb of ram. When I eventually do a clean os install I'll do 64 but idk when that'll be.

Anything over 3.5gb and you should be using 64bit.

64bit optimised software have quite some advantages over 32bit software, it's much more to it than purely allocation of RAM in the operating system. But people tend to believe it's all about RAM for some awkward reason.

Another great advantage for World of Warcraft, which many of you might know if you have tried to play with loads of addons, or with a heavy amount of anti-aliasing or on very high resolution like AMD Eyefinity og nVIDIA Surround is the fact that application can address more than 2GiB RAM. Under Windows 32-bit operating systems a single application can draw up to a maximum of 2GiB each, and I'm not sure about you but my World of Warcraft client is pushing this limit and every time I test out AMD Eyefinity or nVIDIA Surround I'm forced to use the 64-bit client, delete some addons or lower my settings otherwise I'll get a memory crash due to the client extending the 2GiB RAM limit.

on a 32bit os an application can also just allocate 1 gb ram, so if your on 3gb ram, and your systems needs 500mb -> 32bit os photoshop i.e. can just use 1gb and on a 64bit os -> i.e. 2,5 gb.

I'll post my reason for doing this poll later on this evening. For now I'd like to see some more results (34 yes / 3 no at the moment which is over 90%)

I use Windows 7 64 bit w/ 16Gb of RAM ( I don't use all of it, most I came close to using is about 8Gb, but it was cheap so w/e.) Is there any benefit to use 32 bit OS over 64 bit OS? Dun dun dunnnnn.

      64bit OS, 32bit WoW.

Doesnt matter though, there will not be a 64bit HB, get over it.

Well when we can no longer overwrite the forced 64-bit wow then 32-bit HB will be doomed. It will happen eventually.
