[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Hey mate I'm on US Illidan, just tried your profile in Affliction and lock applies DoT's but does not use Malefic or DS. I've updated the SVN, anything I'm not getting or is this a known problem still?

Seems to cancel Malefic Grasp, will cast it then instantly cancels it.. getting only like 40-50ish K dps as a 500 ilvl affliction lock in ToT LFR's.

 

my warlock keeps spaming corruption over and over again.. do you guys know why? i checked settings several times and tried all of the warlocks CC and still the same

(demon warlock btw)

Ok so I did a little testing on affliction tonight. It seems to not want to cast Malefic Gasp and also will sacrafice the demon and not resummon it. Here is a log that I got.

 

In BG's with Affliction spec, it was casting fear and banish way too much. I had to turn them off and just use hot keys.

after casting soulburn soulswap to instant dot target the bot continues to just spam corruption.. is there something im doing wrong?

 

Looking through logs - there's just so many issues which relate to the actual bot itself - if I start butchering routines to get them to run, I'll have to spend ages to revert everything again when the bot is updated.

There appears to be issues with spells not detecting correctly (i.e. Fellash) - Aura's not being detected - and the internal HB method to check if a spell can be cast is returning incorrect values (which prevents the spell casting).

I think we'll have to just wait for an Honorbuddy client update, because most routines are having issues at the moment (including Singular).

It's casting sacrifice demon - why would it resummon?

It's casting MG, but multi-dotting isn't working correctly because of Soul Swap issues (but that appears to be Honorbuddy's aura detection problems rather than Demonic).

Honorbuddy's aura detection issues - it's not you.

I've added Banish into the Diminishing Returns tracker to prevent casting when immune. I've also changed Fear to only cast on the same target once per 15 seconds maximum in a BG (how it used to be) - but will first check that the target isn't immune due to DR's first. In an arena it will continue to fear as much as possible without incurring DRs. Updates not yet on SVN.

It only cause MG for like 2 seconds instead of the full duration. I understand it has probably nothing to do with your routine cause it used to work flawless. I just wish they developers would roll out a new version so that everything is fixed!

 

I've wrote my own CanCast method which will hopefully resolve some of the issues with the rotations. If it works well, then it'll bring a big performance increase too. Credits to Mirabis for giving me a list of things he checks in Leaves with this method.

It still doesn't solve the aura stuff, but will hopefully resolve Metamorphosis for Demonology... or at least... we can hope..

I'll get it on the SVN once I get home and do some quick checks.

 

Worked fine yesterday, updatet after raid and now honorbuddy won't start with Demonic installed

already did that and cache, and compiled assemblys... as soon as I download demonic via svn, honorbuddy crashs on startup

maybe a problem with german version of honorbuddy?

 

Question Millz. Doesnt affliction not only wanna sacrafice the pet but also revive it to get more dps? Im not sure of it because im not to familiar with affliction.

 

Really? That's odd. I'm not sure - it shouldn't be. Should work with either version. Can you try the free version of Demonic and see if it has the same issue please?

Once you sacrifice a pet, you can't summon another, or else it cancels the sacrifice aura.

 

Just pushed an update, but to be clear - it's still not working correctly. The issue - for those interested - is that when checking the auras (i.e. buffs/debuffs) on the target, it always returns false.

So if we check..
-> Does my target have Corruption?
---> True -> Don't Cast
---> False -> Cast

This check always says false, so spams the cast of Corruption. I'm sure the devs are aware of this, but have passed on the message to Hawker/Raphus.

- Reduced the amount of fearing done in battlegrounds (blacklist target for 15 seconds, but still check for DR's on the target before casting to ensure they aren't immune).
- [Affliction] Changed aura detection method for Soul Swap to be less intensive.
- All pet Fellash/Whiplash code has been removed. Honorbuddy is throwing a significant amounts of errors attempting to cast it, which isn't worth the slow down in performance for what the spell does.
- [Affliction] Will no longer cancel cast if target isn't in LoS.
- Added Banish to the Diminishing Returns tracker.
- Changed latency throttle on spell casting to remove minor pausing (i.e. < 100ms)
- Spell casting will now check movement correctly when talented for KJC following 5.4 changes on non english clients.
- Added new custom CanCast method to improve speed and remove the need to rely on Honorbuddy's internal method.
