much thanks. any chance i could get you to post the individual zones? i have a a several herbalist from 72-80 so would like to keep each in appropriate zone(s) until they gradually level up.

 

Hey, thanks for this profile, it seems awesome atm, just wondering if it supports mailboxes as I tried at one point to empty bags and it hearthed - even though i have it unchecked and mail to alt checked. Sorry if I have missed something but thanks a lot m8 for making this profile public!

 

Mind sharing what server you are on? LOL j/k When it says 200 lichbloom are you saying 10 stacks in 8 hrs? total number of stacks if that is the case that you farmed = 32 stacks. If that is the case at 100g a stack that is only 3200g. If you are saying in 8 hrs you got 220 stacks of lich, 200 stacks of icethorn, 90 of the others and so on, at 20g/stack 683 stacks at 20g = around 13k.

So either your numbers are WAY over inflated on what you are selling your herbs for or something... I cant figure out the math. Please explain so I can understand.

Tough i Think everytime it harvests it's 1 , but the herbs give random amounts of items.
I'm running on a very active server but there are only 3 competitors around, and i think 2 of them are doing it by hand.
So I'm dominating the market.

 

sorry for the lack of response, i've been playing Halo Reach every second i get free. lemme try and post some answers but if i miss answering you just let me know.

first thing since hes the one i see right now, Beefcake. the count is how many times you picked whatever. so when it says Lichbloom: 221, it means he came across and herbed Lichbloom 221 times in the 8 hours.

Magestry: it should do mailboxes because that is hard coded into GB, however i never liked it much and stick to the guild vault option.

Ordy: the individual zones were set up to go from one end to the other and pass on to the next zone. alot of them work ok on their own anyway, but Sholazar is not able to be run on its own. im busy this week and cant test any changes i would make, but this weekend ill try and make it for you.

regarding Hodir Rep, it will work better if you do the quests and they are easy enough. however its not a huge deal.

the Icecrown does seem to cause alot of death to myself as well as other people. I will take a look at it this weekend and see if i can make a better route. i passed through icecrown in what i thought would be a good balance between getting herbs and being safe, but since you only get lichbloom and icethorn i should just skip it and farm more in stormpeaks.

 

Ok that makes more sense now, I wish I was on your server on ally/horde side if you have no competitors lol (whichever side you arent on)

 

I'm running Alliance, as Horde is too quiet and i'll be suspicious.

there's some herb on the path in Ice Crown: 29/39 its under some part of the plate form .. and the char got stuck there 3 times everytime i pass there and i needed to move it manully in 2 times and 3rd time some ally came and took the herb....
also some trees in sholzar baisn but i didn't have the coords addon on there .. if got stuck again there gonna post them
everything else is perfect

there's herb in Stormpeaks on 66/70 i passed 7 times by it and GB didn't gather it check it
also in Stormpeaks 56/51 there's some herb my char was standing near it twice afk .. without gathering it

Is there a way when using EditPatrol to change the height of the waypoint? instead of it being on the ground, or do you have to do that manually?

 

unfortuneately you have to edit the Z coordinate (height) by hand in notepad. if you create a waypoint in edit patrol it will always have a zero value Z coordinate, and theres no way to adjust it. im guessing this is because edit patrol was made in the glider days which had no flying mounts, and you only needed waypoints at ground level.

 

this one is only for herbing or does it include mining as well?

 

I mine with this as well, the first couple runs will be a little "hands on" in icecrown/storm peaks as there are nodes that need to be blacklisted or you get stuck/fall dmg. It also does not pass over all the mining node spots but it works pretty good just to pickup ore here and there while focusing more on herbs. I wouldn't use it to do mining only.

 

Im gonna try it out tonight as wintergrasp seems to have become less efficient somehow.

 

this route follows a path setup specifically for collecting herbs. however if you are an herbalist and miner (i am) it will pick up any mining nodes that happen to be in range. i created this route for personal use then released it here. personally mining does not make nearly as much gold as herbing does, so yea.

erm, there're 3 profiles, the thing is, i only get to load 1 profile paths per time right? Do each of them have different versions or rather different areas? Should I start with 09 first?

 

If you read the actual post it tells you the answer. They're all the same except 2nd loops twice round sp and 3rd loops 3 times.
