It was just one bot. If you got confused by the 9/19 in the thread title, that was the date of the ban.
8/24 scheme? I don't understand. I had the account for exactly one month from the day created to the day of the ban.
Oh gotcha. I botted mining/herbalism only using the randombuddy plugin/profiles for about 1 - 1 1/2 weeks before I got the ban. My last account during Cata took about 2 months or more for the ban and I used the most used profiles on the site for 12-16+ hours a day.. Weird.
Probably the amount of auctions u were posting per day. When u post more than 20 stacks everyone reports you,especially the other botters. As for the buyers in trade when there is a glut they will report you for sure to stop the supply till their stocks drop,they know someone else will take ur place,so it aint a problem.
Everytime I read those threads i wonder how greedy someone is, that hes botting for about 8 hrs/per day and then asks why he is getting banned. I'm botting for about 2 hrs/per day since months and not even get banned ONCE. It is really important that you always bot at the same time at all days. Means: Everyday from 18:00-20:00 or something like that. It would be even better if you do it in the morning because the servers are not that full. There has to be a scheme and a kind of routine. Two hours per day is not that obvious like 8 hrs per day. You can tell them, that you farm for 2 hours everyday before you go to school or work. It is just making sense! No one has got the time to farm 8 hourse everyday. Gotcha?
I never asked why I got banned. I got banned, I know why I did and expected a ban at some point. Even botting two hours a day theres still a chance of you being banned for cheating. So I would rather bot 8 hours or so every day or whatever I'm doing because theres pretty much an equal chance of you getting banned as me getting banned. I actually got banned for posting to many auctions which they told me when I appealed. I didn't get banned for botting. Think before you speak.
I never thought about it that way with coding to people but it makes sense. In the email I got they said I cheated. I then appeal it and they said I got banned for economy exploitation. I'm going to probably just get another account and gather on that then transfer the gold to my main. To many things to get me banned doing gathering things to make gold.
I'm not sueing you but I just wanted to say that its kinda naive to bot 8 hrs/per day. Just get another account and get on. I mean whos botting without the aim to get gold, honor, exp or professions? I'm aware of the fact that all the things we do are illegal and because of this we have to act in the shadows *ultra epic rimshot* But you have to admit that the amount of actions are a result of the hours of botting, right? Just put one and one together
The actions that got me banned are posting so many auctions of gathering materials which would lead to them knowing I botted. Me botting for 8 hours isn't want got me banned. If I was to keep those materials and use them for whatever instead of putting them in the AH or selling them to people I would have lasted a LOT longer than I did.
oh lol i first thought you lost 9 accounts speaking of rndbuddy i can only tell what i experienced myself. i am now using rndbuddy since 3 monath and it got me over 4k USD and the funny thing is i didnt got one single account banned* (I am meaning that no acc was locked finally, i sure got some [2-5] account closure notifications but i were able to appeal every one of them and have them completely removed) it always sucks when you aloose a account but i must say tht you just should appeal, maybe wait some days and then go on. rndbuddy's a great concept, not a very common one, but a really fresh, new idea!
