Macatho is correct never farm a instance that you know gold farmers live in even any instance in general I do a max of 2-3 hour farm of 1 instance a day no more.
WOW, I assumed farming instances would be safe. I have been in the instance for about 3 hours now. In and out and to sell off junk items. Why is Halls or Lightning farmed? Its a good place to get relics.
Because it's doable with a 80SOR paladin. When the chinese cant sell all their hacked accounts they reactivate them and add 50 farmers to either Botanica or Halls of Lightning. Kinda why a Netherweave bag costs 20gold... HoL might not be farmable by a 80SOR though, but it was an extremely farmed dungeon before because of the amount of gold you could amass per hour (roughly 300-400g) which is good for a character that needs no special gear etc... If you wanna farm a dungeon, do it very casually, like max 3-4 hours per day and dont go to Botanica or HoL. I would suggest farming some old raid content instead, like do up to lady deathwhisperer in ICC with a 90 DK and then run out reset and farm the trash again. EDIT: a year ago when people started with botanica I also tried it out. My bots lasted 6 hours then ban.
So Macatho what is the difference between me running an instance by hand and bot for 6 hours? I exit the instance regulary and if anyone is there I make conversation or if enemy fart on them. The script and profile does not get all the trash and it screws up Bran opening the door. What can you put in the profile? Can you put a special path to cover the trash mobs? And if so what would it look like?
Dungeonbuddy is currently not queing for me as well. I have done 13 clean installs in a clean folder. It will state in HB "Queing for raid" and keep doing an infinite loop. I have done CLEAN installs over and over, trust me I know the routine, I work help desk for a ver y very large telecom and the first reply I give people is "Did you reboot?" so I get the standard replys but look at the end of the day I will keep working on it. I will read through the code and try to give people the answers they are looking for. Getting this to work is very very very hard, ty for your patience. P.S.: I have done clean installs on 4 of my machines and it is all the same.
same for me, but queuing for 3 raid instances at once then going afk works. he accepts and afterwards goes in the next thats ready.
If the character is a healer it will heal. If it's a DPS, it will DPS. It's decided based on your spec. I am amazed that you haven't found that out yourself, did you even start the bot?
There isn't a difference, do what you want. We're just saying that long-hour botting in dungeons is not a very wise choice. But in the end, it is up to you. Heck if you wanna post 10000 auctions per day, it's up to you. Everything is up to you, we're just giving you advice based on our experience.
What are the chances of getting a logic coded in to allow us to run effectively as tanks in LFR's etc? I will donate some small malaysian children to the cause to make this happen!
