In all honesty I really think having Gatherbuddy and Honorbuddy as two seperate things was a rather bad move. Honorbuddy has much more quality to it, many more features, and is a much "smarter" bot than Gatherbuddy. Gatherbuddy lacks in many features, and it doesn't utilize any of the technology that power Honorbuddy. I mean, if you added a few more options for pathing such as waypoints and added the ability to use a flying mount to Honorbuddy, then Gatherbuddy would become completely obsolete. It would allow the features such as corpse-running, Combat Classes, anti-afk, and all the many useful plugins and features that are present in Honorbuddy to be used with gathering. With a little work put into it, you could end up having a completely AFK profile that travels around Storm Peaks, hunts down, kills, and loots the Time Lost Proto-drake. This is just something I've always wondered about, since it really does not make sense.
True, but you could simply have it as two seperate subscriptions if anything. If you buy lifetime as many do, you get both as it is. I mean if Gatherbuddy had many of the features and the robustness of Honorbuddy, then ya it would make a nice standalone. As it looks like right now, it seems like some cheap bot they made on the side that doesn't really implement the good features from Honorbuddy. It would be awesome if Gatherbuddy was integrated either directly into Honorbuddy (you could have a "Gathering" option along-side Grinding, PVP, etc...) or even as a plugin because really the differences are only a few key features that determine how it navigates.
GB = stable .... HB = ??? .... I agree that it should be combined into HB, but until HB is as stable as GB it would be a very bad idea.
You know that Honorbuddy has been A) unstable, and not entirely reliable recently*, and B) More people have been banned with it IMO from what I've seen on these forums. I personally only use GB and have yet to be banned *knocks on wood* but that's just me, and I am not saying gatherbuddy is foolproof. I myself would have stopped using this bot altogether if gatherbuddy was part of honorbuddy. Honorbuddy is for people that want to be leveled, and gatherbuddy is for those that want cash. Honorbuddy can almost always be improved, while gatherbuddy I have to say, is pretty damn close to perfection with what it does.
A) Honorbuddy hasn't been "unstable". People find bugs, that's the way it is with software. None of these bugs have really been a show-stopped, and you really can't call it out on the authentication issues. B) That's because people are just taking risks. Botting in PVP always has risks, as well as botting other things. Hell you carry pretty much the same risk with Gatherbuddy. I wouldn't call either one "perfect", Honorbuddy has its issues and Gatherbuddy also has issues. I see that the most prevalent bugs are getting fixed from Honorbuddy. Gatherbuddy on the other hand is really simple, that it doesn't run into bugs. What I'm saying though, is that if you had Gathering as a part of Honorbuddy to begin with, with its waypoint-based navigation, then Gatherbuddy really could benefit from things such as plugins, combat classes, etc... Honorbuddy could also benefit from things such as using a flying mount. It really doesn't make sense to have 2 different programs which do extremely similar things, when they could both benefit from the features being added in.
thats right thats why im not botting in bg a normal player would defend flags etc help people in bgs who are in trouble with fighting bots dont do that thats why i play self in bg
the day GB will be merged into HB, they better raise the quality overall or a bunch will simply quit, just as a test, bug a GB release for 1 week and bug HB release for a week......you will know why both still need to be separated. Zuruss
well to be honest Ive notced other bots usually do have it included for a cheaper price etc but hb is great as is gb (so ive heard I can try it my self soon ) but at the end of the day if people are willing to pay then why should bossland put them together?. Like others have said theyere 2x different things and I personally have no issues with it. Some people may not want hb either.
