HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

The 'Vale of Eternal Sorrow' LFR script is almost done. But it won't be fully functional because the HB api that deals with missiles is not working since 5.4 (should be fixed by next HB release).
Also healers might have issues with combat routine not healing some NPCs; such as the friendly npcs that healers need to heal during the 'Look Within' phase on the Norushen encounter or the Contaminated Puddle from the Immerseus encounter.
I recommend healing combat routines start using the 'HealTargeting.Instance' added to HB recently so extensions such as DB scripts can adjust heal targets.

Slim to no chance for tank support to be added in the default scripts due to much higher risks involved when playing this role. However because the scripts are open source, tanking support could be added by anyone with the required programming skills.

 

I think it is the custom cs files making calls to HB. I dunno but I suspect HB does not support the calls the scripts try to make.

just had a quick question/feature request if it was at all possible. would there be a way to say.. check off bosses that i wanted to use bonus rolls on and have the bot do so without using bonus rolls on non selected bosses? for example i am still trying to farm UVLS off Lei shen and would love to not have to watch the bot for the end of the actual kill on lei shen in order to use a bonus roll on him. is that in any way possible?

How well does DB work now with a 5 man group I remember 6 months ago it was not very good and had major issues.

Is anyone using this for a 5 man group and how well does it go. Some details would be nice like

1. What instances have you do with 5 man group
2. What levels have you completed
3. What type of setup are you using such as all range or all melee or mix
4. What CC are you using with you're characters

3. Dsnt matter, I like paladin or DK tanks for AE threat and resto-druid or holy-priests.
4. Singular works fine, I do use Hazzdruid for resto.

Generally melee seems dps harder than range due to them getting started faster, but if you're not gonna run a 5-man a ranged character looks less bottish.

When it comes to picking your healer I'd follow this: Restodruid/holypriest > resto shaman > disc > hpal.

Ofc its nice to mix the classes up so you have different need on loot, like Protpal+Elemental+Feral+Ret+Holypriest. This is probably the best setup, only reason for the shaman is that singular backup heals quite a lot which is very nice and it has heroism.

I did try a Protpal+hunt+hunt+hunt+Holypriest and it worked fine, different pets for the different buffs that was lacking.

 

Please take care about the Ways between the Bosses in the new LFR. Its like Forgotten Depth, there is not just one way and every Group can go another.

i have a problem with dungeonbuddy...
how can i choice a role manually while queueing for a dungeon ?
for example. i want my character to be a healer when doing role check ,and while inside the dungeon,it use dps spec.
it's for i have some new characters to level up using lfd ,but none of them can play as a healer...

 

If you queue as a healer you heal okay? If you queue as dps you DPs. Don't queue as a healer for a faster queue just to make the raid suck. You're the worst kind of botter.

 

Why dont you just buy some healer gear and play it as healer then? Jesus the problems some people have...

 

Not trying to sound too demanding, but do you have any insight into when the fixed HB release is slated to release? Ballpark is fine. Can't sit still in my chair waiting for DB SoO LFR support.

Second this. DB heals just fine as long as you have drinks to refill your mana if you need it. If the tank/dps do stupid stuff and it can't keep them alive, it's typically overpulling or accidental extra pulls.

rrrr... sorry for that i didn't explain it clearly . i have a 90 paladin and 4 80-85 charcters to level up .so i want to level them up in dungeon using lfd .it's safe that use a dps or a tank spec, further more its faster.

 

My problem lies where any character I use, no mater what cc will have very little action and terrible following as well. For instance, my shaman using singular to heal will follow the group for a few fights and then either will load tiles for the rest of the dungeon or say that it's waiting for dps to come into rang, however the dps is already ahead of me at this point so it just sits. On my hunter using singular or tuahna hunter will follow 95% of the time if it Doesn't get stuck loading tiles but will not target or attack. Even if I manually target. It just sits there. Any ideas??

 

Latest Version of HB or BETA version does not work with DungeonBuddy for RAID finder. It says Queuing for RaidFinder but it does not, any thoughts ?

If I select one of the Raid Finder manually, on the list, it works, but choosing AUTO SELECT BEST RAID no longer working.

Fresh install, no plugin.

 

many people have mentioned this, they are too slack to acknowledge this or provide any such support. regardless of logs or not.

 

Same here and more....zul farrak is bugged too and some others , both those on blackrock depths is just LOL = 100% ban

 

Cant start DungeonBuddy, getting this Error

Is there a special Address or Port to connect this Server? Im using a PR*** and it looks like HB need some special configuration in my PR*** Software.
