CORRECTION: 5 000 Gold per day per bot, not 500. Got 3 accounts, all of them WotLK(battlechest). What I am doing is to farm up ores - copper-tin-iron-mithril-thorium-feliron-adamantite-cobalt-saronite-titanium and make them into bars then sell on the AH. Also making all in the middle bars like felsteel and titansteel bars - which sell more profitable then the others, but not more than a few a day. Also selling all of the leathers - light-mediumg-heavy-rugged-... leather. Always making sure I have in stock from everything so I don't lose pottential sales. I do however have a min buyout for the items, because for instance copper bar goes from 30-40s up to 1g50s per item depending on the our of the day and at 30s per item - 6g per stack the gold per hour is like 66g with a profile for 150 nodes per hour = 450 ores = 225 bars = 11 stacks = 66g per hours - without calculating smelting.. Tried to sell only when the price is high, but didn't work that good, when the price is high people don't buy that much. I re log into my bankers pretty much every 1-2 hours to see if there are sales and to put new items on the AH if they are sold. Tried JC - the gems don't sell or the price is lower then the uncut gem. Prospected ores to uncut gems so I can sell the ores in one other way, but the bar is pretty much with the higher price per ore, only some ores prospected are with same / greate value. Herbs go with really low price. Tried to sell some found up while farming potions - they really don't sell, even at super low price. Haven't tried fishing yet. Tried running instances for disenchanting, the dust is with reasonable price 1g+ per item, but the lesser/greater essences are with a joke price. I guess for power leveling enchanting you don't need them that much. Running instances for enchant mats / cloth is with even less gph. the bots are 80-60-60 lvl and can be in a prty while running instance - only one is disenchanter, with setting for vote disenchant. Sadly the AI of the bot for my army of protection protection warrior is terrible... the most dps is revenge/shield slam and thunderclaw. The bot casts a skill every 5 seconds, which greatly reduced his dps. I am thinking about leveling a hunter, so the pet with blizz's AI would fight using all he can. Then maybe I will get another thing to sell that makes good gph. I don't want to invest into 1-3 Panda accounts, looking for a way to lift up my gold per day/hour, but can't think of more profitable botting currently than bars/leather. What am I doing wrong? p.p. I am botting for selling gold, with the current gold per hour and price of gold I am still making profit, but not significant.
if you gat tailoring then try farm frostweave cloth on my server cost a stack 40-70 g you can do it inn icecrown you can farm 40-70 stack inn 60 min on a lvl 90
I Farm Obsidium or Ghost iron ore. I have myself 3 buyers at all times for ghost iron ore, and Obsidium I just smelt half of what I usually farm into Bars and sell on AH.. from my math, I can farm enough Ghost Iron Ore in 1 hour to sell to my buyers and make about 1500g - 2200g. usually I will set gather buddy to farm ghost iron ore in The Jade Forest and have it run between 2 - 4 hours before I go to bed. I always have like 80k gold on hand at any given time. but I have Herb / Mining on my monk, which sometimes I will have him farm both and let me tell you...The Jade Forest is the best spot in my opinion for Green Tea Leaf and Rain Poppy. if I farm both herbs and ores at the same time I can usually pull more around 1500g - 3200g per hour (depending on if he gets stuck or not and the Auction House of course).
Haven't tried that. Will do. I already know what you are going to say I am pushing that further, but most certainly will try when I expand to 6 bots, not just 3. On my server cloth is with terrible price. I just checked AH, the price of linen-wool-silk-runecloth is up to 1g per item, however the frostweave cloth is at 7g per piece. No idea if it's a peak because HB is down or it's really that high usually. Will try frostwave without tailoring. If it goes fine definitely will level up tailoring. I started doing that last week, but when I saw how terrible the prices are delited the profession. You didn't read the first post. I am with accounts up to WotLK. Don't have cata/panda.
My bad, I did read it... but it didn't click in my head now that you mention it. hmm I can do some research and get back to you when HB gets back up and running and do some tests myself.
I can recommend this option. Otherwise try to doing gathering in Outland and Northrend with proper private profiles which farms both ores and herbs. I guess you can't fly in Azeroth, and if that's true then you shouldn't gather there, as it's too slow then. Therefore do Northrend and Outland gathering. Or at least get cata for 4 euro and do some proper Azeroth gathering. Don't waste time on skinning and disenchanting before pandaria. (Savage Leather is good though).
I gather all the available ores in Eastern Kingdom, Kalimdor, Outland and Northland. As I listed in the first post: "What I am doing is to farm up ores - copper-tin-iron-mithril-thorium-feliron-adamantite-cobalt-saronite-titanium and make them into bars then sell on the AH. Also making all in the middle bars like felsteel and titansteel bars - which sell more profitable then the others, but not more than a few a day. Also selling all of the leathers - light-mediumg-heavy-rugged-... leather." I do have fly for Kalimdor / EK ofc. I didn't farm until I got up to 60 to buy the fly mount bought with Aing the cloth / ores / leather gathered while leveling. Leather is with better price then bars. The sell for 1.5-6g per piece, talking about EK/K leather. So deffinetly worth it compared to 1g per copper ore and 2g per saronite - which is 2ores per bar and the node per hour on the saronite profile is way smaller than copper...
I bought 3 secondhand MOP accounts for 90?, used 1 week to lvl 3 dk's to 90. Earning 30k+ a day, only selling ghost iron ores/bars Suck it up, buy MOP = profit.
There are many more people who play Panda now, so there is better and more profitable items out there, so that may be one reason why, cause your selling things that have been around for a while now. Second it just may be your servers economy, it happens to servers every now and then but it gets better. But once a patch comes out there are sometimes new items to gain from professions which are higher in value, but again it would mainly be the high lvl items. I found that Herb and Mine make a very profitable profession combined on one character using a bot. Making 1k of gold a day is kinda nice.
500g per day, are you sure you didn't miss a zero out? Even selling Wrath bars you should be able to make more than that. Have you looked at the times you are posting at? I'm not saying you'll make a fortune but still 500g is pretty low. I know you only have Wrath accounts and don't want to fork out the extra for Panda, which I can understand, but consider upgrading to Cata as you can pick up a copy really cheap from places like Amazon now (it was ?2.50 last time I checked) - if you are doing it to sell gold, this will pay for itself overnight by opening up many more markets to diverify into and allow you to fly in EK/Kalimdor.
Yeah, considering to upgrade to panda. Sadly missed the discounted price. For sure wil lgo up to panda, but don't got the money to invest atm. Trying to make the WoW self sufficient. Oh my God I met 5 000, not 500, hahah. I get 500-2000 gold per mail batch every 2-3 hours. Currently making 10-12k a day with 3 bots. I am posting constantly. I always have stuff in the AH, refreshing to min buyout every 2 hours. I will upgrade one of the accounts ot Cata in a week or so for sure. Just trying to speed up the process by making more gold -> sell -> reinvest, un till I get money in like a month, which I will invest into more WoW / HB accounts.
you could farm instances, but don't overdo it! Wotlk Instances work best with a lvl 83+ btw..They net you about 300-400 golds per hour.
I guess you are misunderstanding how to farm instances, first they are meant to be soloed not ran in a party. Secondly, you can simply vendor the loot for anywhere from 200-900 gph or you can collect the cloth, DE the greens and make bags, plus put Xtra chanting mats on the AH.
I run them in party so I can disenchant the green/blue/purples while only one of the bots is with enchanting profession. The bots that are in party are not in the same instance. They are farming different instances at the same time or only some of them are instancing, while others mining ores. I delete the thrash when there's less then 5 slots in the bags, keeping the cloths and the DE mats. On low level instances that I run, under 60lvl, the thrash items are not worth it to lose time to go to vendor. Unless there's a vendor inside the instance, which is rare. I am currently at around 400gph, need ideas for higher with characters up to 80 lvl up to Northland lands.
Maybe that's the problem. I am at max population server. I guess when I invest into 3 more wow accounts/bots/hbaccounts I better put them into a different realm. What would you advice me? Going for high, low or medium pop? Or there's other research that I should do before choosing server to hop on to?
