Blizzard is no dumb, of Course they set the release date just 1-3 weeks before Christmas, because then more people are going to buy?!
Its a two edged sword. Some sites declare that Cata might be pushed to 2011...some declare that it will be early December or something. The blue post is a glimpse of the roadmap that Blizz is on at the moment. Due to unknown reasons(slower development of the new areas, class balancing,etc) the release date might vary more or less. If it happens like it did in WOTLK they might even launch a unfinished product and iron out the various bugs after the release. Still...its just a small bone they have thrown at us. Until the retailers get their official release date and start making plans nothing is sure. Just hold on...wait for the 4.0.1 patch to be deployed and well figure things out after that. Till then all we can do is level alts and professions and gather more gold .
Well i laughed when i noticed the 12.7.... I read it months ago and didnt think about it. Well now im actually thinking this might be real i know im a little pathetic but i kinda hope its December 7. Well lets just wait and see...
