I think 99.9% is a good number. In my little time spent using Honorbuddy (last year, year an half) i have seen 504 hit, 510, 520, 530, 540. Each update had 24 hours to 48 hours of downtime. I have seen numerous patches hit, which brought down the use of HB for 3-8 hrs. So lets calculate with 10 ninja patches:
((5*48)+(10*8))/(365*24)=320hrs/8760hrs = 3.65% So the uptime in the worst case scenario was 96.35%
      In best case scenario:
      ((5*24)+(10*3)/(365*24)=150hrs/8760hrs = 1.71% Giving us an uptime of 98.29%

And i do use HB 24/7. So for me the uptime has lived up to advertisement. For those of you who just purchased the bot for 3 days and have 1 day of downtime, math might be different. In the long run, this is a good place to be. And i do not think the work speeds up whether you post here 200 an hour or not. I am sure all of them are working pretty hard to get this running, considering none of these retarded topics have been closed.

Censoring generally means people don't want you finding out the truth. You don't need to be protected from the truth.

It does, its called a tripwire. And nowhere in his response did he say that they advertised on safety granted.

      oh no im wrong :(

At least I don't cry about not being able to bot for less than 24 hrs - i just use free trials of the ones that released early without checking for safe-t on crap accounts to get my bot jitters under control :D

      "HONORBUDDY THE BOT FOR W-O-W"
"Best available 3rd party Bot for the game World of Warcraft from Blizzard"
      "All bot modes supported
      Open API Development
      99.9% uptime guarantee
Works with Windows XP - W8
      Easy to setup"

To me it seems like it's talking about the bot considering the whole ad is for the bot itself.

Don't get me wrong, I love HB! But yes, for something that is meant to be "99.9% uptime guaranteed", the developer's sure post some cocky posts about why we shouldn't bother them about releasing updates because they will take as long as it takes to make sure that HB is safe. WHICH IS FAIR ENOUGH! BUT, either lose the advert or lose the attitude.

In 4 yrs, the trip wire has been triggered 2 times to my knowledge. And both of those were false alarms caused by HB it's self or at least that's what we were told.

      98% uptime = 28.8 minutes/day or 3.4 hours/week or 14.4 hours/month or 7.3 days/year
      99% uptime = 14.4 minutes/day or 1.7 hours/week or 7.2 hours/month or 3.65 days/year
      99.5% uptime = 7.2 minutes/day or 0.84 hours/week or 3.6 hours/month or 1.83 days/year
      99.9% uptime = 1.44 minutes/day or 0.17 hours/week or 0.72 hours/month or 8.8 hours/year

Uh, yeah he did. He said the promised us safety, they do not. Besides, nowhere in their advertisement or ANYWHERE on their purchase pages, do they mention tripwire or any sort of anti cheat protection. I was not wrong in my reply, your just being picky for the sake of it right now.

Sure, lets have some math. Lets say, I live to the average median age of an American, which (for a male) is 76 years old. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy

Now, lets take into consideration, Honorbuddy released (I have no idea, but I'm going to say 2010). Meaning I was 27 at the time. 76 - 27 = 49 years.

49 years x ~365 days (I'm not going to do leap year averages, sorry) x .999 (for 99.9% uptime) = 17867.115 days of uptime. That means, in my ENTIRE expected lifetime, HB can be down for a grand total of 17.885 days for the next 49 years. It's been down for ~7 days in the last 2-3 weeks.

As much as I'd like to say "Laywered", I think I'll stick with "Math'd".

How can it imply safety, when theres no mention of said safety? No, it does not even imply safety.

Aight, all my responses where made while waiting on elites to spwn here... i didnt even take 1 min to answer something. Now that i think of it your whining shouldnt even gotten 1 response other then: "u need some cheese with that"?

Point is, your a crybaby asking for his lollypop cause you cant handle some downtime. When we give yo u valid reasons for the downtime YOU have to be picky about a 99.9 % uptime. Maybe its legal, maybe its advertisement to state a 99.9% uptime, still in my time botting... i have a 90%+ uptime and that satisfies me more then enough when i know what xpcs and patches have been. Fact remains that they are working on it and your crying is not helping in any way.

You simply proved my point. Thank you.

96.35% and 98.29% are simply not 99.9% are they?

You're missing the entire point of his post. All you do is point fingers and call names - while Xarian is posting actual evidence and a thoughtful response. If anyone is the cry baby, it is you being incredibly defensive over honorbuddy for no apparent reason other than to be an troll on the forums. I really with the reading comprehension of the general Honorbuddy forum poster would increase. Amazing you don't sense the irony of your 'QQing' posts.

Bro, your missing the point. I dont care about the downtime lol, they can take 2 months for all i care. Just DONT falsely advertise your product for something its not. I dont want them to push out the bot faster, I simply want them to remove the retarded advertisement saying 99.9% uptime. Im not asking for much, I am asking for what in many EU countries, would be considered false advertisement, which is illegal.
