Tony said i should grab the newest release and open a new thread if it still dosnt work. Here is the new thread and the new log ( which is the same as before ... ) [13:15:24.552 N] Error attaching Honorbuddy to WoW! - System.ArgumentNullException: Endscene pointer passed to Executor constructor was invalid Parameter name: endscene at GreyMagic.Executor..ctor(ExternalProcessMemory memory, IntPtr hookLocation) at GreyMagic.ExternalProcessMemory..ctor(Process p, Boolean startupExecutor, Boolean dx9, Boolean startupRasm) at Styx.StyxWoW.(Process , GraphicsApi ) at Honorbuddy.MainWindow.FindAndAttachToWoW(Boolean& found64Bits) Like be4 i tested all versions ( outside and inside germany, zip and installer ) AND im sure wow is on x86 build. --- Edit: --- Could it be that it needs wddm 1.3 drivers ? Download http://download.microsoft.com/downl...-4FF2-B699-5E9B7962F9AE/VSU3/vcredist_x86.exe or Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center 2. If you already have the package installed then remove C++ 2010, and later versions and reinstall. 3. If the issue persists... update/remove/reinstall .net 4.5 framework
*facepalm* Next time read my old thread. I know you just wanted to help but this was just bullshit. There is no need to reinstall .net and c++ stuff. Read the error description in my post then you whould know that there seems to be a problem reading memory adresses either in RAM or VRAM. This has nothing to do wth the stuff you wrote ( and btw all those stuff is already installed and up to date because i use MS Visualstudio for work and i need to have that all up to date at any time )... If it sounds harsch thats just because im pissed of stupid anwers like that, its not personal. It cant be that when you want to use 1 software you have to change 20 system settings ! If the software throws errors on your system, its the softwares fault, not your systems fault ! ( remember, its not personally against you Kravitz ) Oh and btw, its not running on linux due to linux security settings *giggles*
I do understand zorno's frustration, as I am having exactly the same error. And generally getting the same responses. Haven't been able to use honorbuddy since last wow patch. Liitle frustrating. Everything was running fine before the patch.
if you can sort it out via skype pls post the solutions here, for further guys having problems, thanks!
No problem. I know it's annoying, but it's the fact that these packages control the API and how it attaches to the WOW process. Sometimes the packages need to be installed in sequential order, or a simple corrupt file needs to be overwritten/removed, or even installing GPU drivers/software again. Then again, it could be a software bug, but the only way to discover this is my doing all the annoying things over and over.
Yep those packages are bastards If its running for you, can you check which version your softwaremanager shows for them please ? And for graphics drivers, i updated 6 major versions now and the error changed to "read/write process incomplete".
