I got my first ban ever today, no warnings, no 72 hour suspension just a straight up ban, I generally don't use HB to gather a whole lot, but i was saving up to get some spirits so i could make some plate pants, I farmed ghost iron over 3 days and went anywheres from 4 hours and once went 10. Other than that I use hb to improve my dps. Is anyone ever successful at appealing a ban? anyone who has been successful have any tips? this is my main and only account. I would hate to lose everything and start over. Any tips, help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Ive been banned but since i don't use authenticator on my bot account i was able to convince them someone must of hacked me and they gave me my account back twice that way. hope it works for you. i just played dumb and said last time i was playing i ran a raid (which i did) and never farmed ore and herbs that day (which i did) lol and said i have a guild raid to be to in 30 min and got my account back within 5 min

When using hb on my dk 100% of the time 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: zero, I sold my ghost iron privately 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Nope 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Nope 10)EU or US realm? US 11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid account
Does the honesty method ever work, admitting fault. and saying it would never happen again.... just looking to bounce around a few ideas to get the best possible outcome, I know each time i write them and they reject it, the less likely I'll get my account back

Yeah it worked for me and U can see in my thread I borrowed it from someone else. Really just depends on the gamemaster you get with the appeal
its not because of that u nimwits. you really think you get out of your perm ban cause of being honest? Lmao. Its always 48-72 hours depending on what you did after a appeal on a perm. If you seriously was one big abuser, your done. If scaled down they scale down the ban, just to let you know... we know u cheated, dont do it again. And for those copying and pasting full responses with gm name and such.. gg. xpct a ban soon again. Blizz aint reading this and you didnt make it easier to find you again... Some people.......
I did appeal the ban, and my perma ban was lifted and a 72h suspension was given in it's place, I'm definitely done botting on my main account and may consider getting a second account in the future
No need to stop botting. Just stop using gatherbuddy for 10 hours straight which is what got you the ban in the first place. You should continue to use rotation bot and whatever else you were doing. Gatherbuddy is not safe unless you add some key plugins to support it
