Hello. I'm used to botting on games like Runescape etc, this is the first time i've decided to bot on a game like wow. I paid for the BuddyWing bot, downloaded it all. Ran all the instructions and configured it correctly to it's needs. Basically what i've done so far: - Downloaded BuddyWing - Downloaded and put in plugin folder 'Mizzles Empire 10-50 grind pack' - Downloaded Waltars combat routine which installed into DefaultCombat So then I ran this bot while swtor was logged in, once I press 'Run' The game just major lags and stands there for ages on end, then eventually will take a couple of steps and stop and again.. couple of steps and stops. It's extremely laggy, why is this as I have a AMD 7970 GPU with a PhenomIIX6 processor with 8gb ram.., this should be absolutely fine as it runs on very high so I decided to put it down to very low detail to see if it stops lagging. No. It's still extremely laggy and the bot barely works. Any help? :/ *Update* I've somewhat managed to get it working, although the game still seems extremely laggy? *Update 2* Stuck. :/ I'm pretty sure i'm doing something wrong? XD
Please read the guide in my signature it will help you heeps. Also what you need to do is hit ctrl+shift+esc and that will open up task manager. After you open task manager you go to processes and set priority of larger swtor process to high/real time. You may have to allow access to all users by clicking the button on bottom of task manager window. That will allow you to adjust the system processes. Make sure to read my guide over for other helpful hints!
I did follow your guide, the game is still extremely laggy and just gets stuck all the time. Edit: Managed to sort the lagg issue out set affinity etc. Althought the bot seems to be working currently, it is very slow at leveling. I noticed that once it kills something, it will stand there and wait for a couple of minutes.. then move to another thing.. goes in circles? *Seems to idle 2/3 of the time* *bot dies alot because of idle*
It seems to be alright now.. but my main problem now is that if it finds a target, my companion will attack the target and my character will just run back and fourth attempting to attack it and then dies? (using wingIT routine on sith assassin with kicks questing)
I have tried all routines, including yours. All get stuck walking into a wall, or idle through combat. Or do nothing at all in combat.
Spec all points into darkness tree. What happens when you start bot do you have a log for me? Go into log folder and post something for me so we can figure this out.
All my points are currently in damage. When I start the bot it will either start moving to quests, or just stand there doing nout. I have collected some logs into a rar.
My current stable build routine supports darkness spec the best. I never worked on other things for it yet since real life. I will look over log and post back. Testing some new builds of BW since of current server issues.
From what I remember, i've tried your stable build and your 'beta' build or something. Still all the same issues with it getting stuck and not doing anything.
Have you tired something else besides questing profiles? Since it seems like it trying to pick up a quest and can't so it just moves back and fourth. Update your buddywing since new update is out to fix some issues. I will read this log more here shortly just taking care of some stuff in real life.
Ok sure, thanks for lending me some help. I have tried Mizzle's 10-50 grinding back (was extremely slow at leveling, got 1 level in 6hours (26)) And also likes to get stuck and idle in the middle of combat.
That was a issue with older buddywing that was making it not contact nav server. Seems like you are having issues with it trying ti pick up a quest. Yes grinding is slower but works better since buddywing/swtor has issues with interaction. So it some times will not be able to intact with quest object like it needs to so it can advance.
So should I try out grinding again? and what is the best profile for a sith assassin (level 27) if you know. I was using Mizzles 10-50 beforehand. Thanks again.
Best thing to do is make your own profiles. It doesn't take long or very hard. I lot of people use those profiles so the areas can be packed. You are best off just making your own by checking out the guides section. Yes it will take a little bit but its not very hard.
This would waste my key time as I only bought the 3day key to see how it ran etc and ran into so many problems :/ I will try grinding out later and see how it works. Is mizzles the only decent 10-50 empire one out there?
This bot is horrifically bad. I decided to do grinding again. The bot just constantly keeps getting stuck in trees, so I have to go round it for the bot. Then if it dies, it will just idle at medical area.
