I recently got messaged by a player named Bl?zzardgme while I was 'botting' and did not see what the person said as I was not paying attention to my chat. I would like to know whether that was truly what the name suggests (a game master) or someone impersonating one. Does anyone know?
If it was, it would simply have been a warning. Usually it's along the lines of "We have detected a third party program. Please stop or you may be suspended or banned." Take it as a sign that your current trends in botting will get you banned eventually. Better start cutting back or changing time patterns.
I could see that being the case, however would blizzard use non-standard i's (?) in their name like this guy did? Also I armoried the name and I found there are a bunch of level 1's named the same on many different servers. Also, if they do decide to ban you would it be an instant disconnect kick ban thing, or would it be like a day later when you are offline?
Honestly man, if this gets you that worried, perhaps you should question why you are botting. And it is definitely a scam so don't stress about it.
No blizzard employee will have the word "blizzard" in their in-game name ever. Particularly not with a weird accent over a vowel.
